Actress Gwyneth Paltrow has landed a new job as the face of Coach. She’ll be featured in the brand’s 70th anniversary campaign, which will be seen in fall 2011 and spring 2012 in European and Asian markets.

In a statement, Gwyneth said:

“I grew up in New York City and I’ve always thought of Coach as the quintessential New York brand. I will never forget getting my first Coach bag.”

The ads were shot on a Manhattan rooftop by fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh.

Coach president, Reed Krakoff, explained that Gwyneth is a:

“natural choice for this campaign…She embodies the spirit, energy and elegance of the Coach brand.”

Gwyneth has recently modeled for Tod’s, Christian Dior and Estee Lauder.

Actress Lindsay Lohan, who was just bailed out of jail after being sentenced to 120 days for a probation violation, sat down for a very open and honest pre-taped interview with Jay Leno for The Tonight Show, which will air tonight (watch video sneak peek below).

Lindsay told Jay she was shocked and totally numb when she heard she would be sent to jail for 120 days. So Lindsay was definitely not expecting to pay for her mistakes. Of course not… LiLo is 24 years old and she does whatever she wants!

Leno asked Lohan, “At what point did you realize, ‘Oh my God, I could lose this, this could slip away from me?’”

“I think that when, you know, being young and being in the position I was in, you don’t really take the time to appreciate what you have and it’s all kind of a whirlwind, and people make decisions for you. But I’m not a kid anymore – I’m 24, I’ve made a lot of mistakes and I recognize that. I’m in the clear now, and as long as I stay focused, I can achieve what I want to achieve.”

Lindsay also confirmed that she will indeed play the role of John Gotti Jr.’s wife, Kim, in the upcoming Gotti biopic titled “Gotti: Three Generations”, also starring John Travolta.

Actress Cherie Johnson, best known for playing Laure Winslow’s best friend Maxine in “Family Matters”, is desperate to take her clothes off and posed nude for the famous men’s magazine, Playboy.

Cherie says, “I have been threatening my family that I was going to do ‘Playboy’ since I was 18 years old. When my mom said ‘Okay’ … and my grandma said, ‘Bring me a autographed copy,’ I figured I’d make it a goal.”

After the encouragement from her mommy and grandma, Cherie was even more determined to make it. Last week, the 35 year-old posed nude on a So Cal beach hoping those pictures will score her a photo spread in an upcoming issue of Hugh Hefner’s magazine. Oh, boy!

Funny man Rob Schneider, who is best known for his roles in the Deuce Bigalow movies, married Patricia Azarcoya Arce Saturday in Beverly Hills.

The actor, 47, who can also be seen in many Adam Sandler comedies, said in a statement:

“Patricia and I were surrounded by our closest friends and family; it was the happiest day of my life. We had a great time at the wedding and are looking forward to our honeymoon.”

She’s quite a catch, Rob! Congratulations to the happy couple!

Just in time to begin filming season 4 of MTV’s Jersey Shore, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro have called it quits yet again.  The pair claim that this time, it’s for real.  23rd times the charm, right?  I don’t know about you guys, but I’ll believe it when I see it.

Sammi seems to be taking the time apart well, using the energy she usually expends squabbling, to promote her new jewelry line. Oh, and the extra attention from a few new suitors here and there doesn’t hurt either.  A source close to the couple reported,

“Sammi was having a fantastic time at her Bon Voyage party on April 16th—and Ronnie was nowhere in sight. They’re completely and totally over. Two guys from the San Diego Chargers were totally flirting with her and she was definitely enjoying the attention.”

Wow cool, the Chargers.  Sammi, do your research before you start jersey chasing; San Diego didn’t even make the play offs last year.  Nothing like finishing early, right guys?

The ever-feuding couple would be wise to let this break up be the one that takes.  The rest of the cast seems to be getting a little tired of their antics and after recent reports that Jenny “JWOWW” Farley stabbed her ex-boyfriend, I wouldn’t want to do anything to cross her.

With the success of her Real Housewives spin-off Bethenny Ever After, Skinnygirl empire, New York Times bestselling memoir, stint on Skating with the Stars and of course, her beautiful new baby Bryn, you’d think Frankel would do anything for a break from the fray.

Not so says New York Magazine, who claim the sassy skinnygirl is now interested in hosting her own talk show.  After all, Frankel says she only anticipates another season or two of reality TV in her future.  And who can blame her?  Personally, I think she should be canonized for putting up with Jill Zarin and the rest of the crew for as long as she did on The Real Housewives of New York City.

As far as ending her tenure on reality TV, I say, the self-made millionaress should make a run at The Celebrity Apprentice title.  She did just sell her her Skinnygirl franchise for a cool $120 million and could probably run huge businesswoman circles around NeNe Leeks in the boardroom.

Reality star Kristin Cavallari and her boyfriend, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, became officially engaged while on a romantic vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico over the Easter weekend.

The 27 year-old NFL star reportedly surprised Kristin when he went down on one knee to propose. A source revealed, “He surprised her with a quick trip to Cabo to ask her to marry him.”

Kristin and Jay started dating on Labor Day weekend last fall. A couple of months later, Kristin, who previously dated “The Hills” cameraman Miguel Medina, was completely smitten with her new Beau, saying “I’m in love and it’s been great.”

“The King Of Queens” star Kevin James and his wife, actress Steffiana de la Cruz, have welcomed their third child, a healthy baby boy named Kannon Valentine James, in Boston on Easter Sunday (April 24).

The 45 year-old actor married the 35 year-old Filipino-American model in a blind date back in 2001 and they tied the knot in June 2004. Baby Kannon joins big sisters, 5 year-old Sienna-Marie and 3 year-old Shea.

Last week, the samba was also danced to inappropriate music. This week, Karina fell and it was Ralph, who had to pull her back up, lead her and get back into the dance.
