American Idol season 10 star, Stefano Langone, who was a regular in this season bottom 3, naturally accepted his elimination last week. The 21 year-old said goodbye to the competition with a performance of “Lately”, while a visibly upset fellow Idol hopeful James Durbin stormed off the stage.

In an interview for People (read below), Stefano explained that he and James have a very strong connection since they have been roommates since Hollywood week and helped each other through the competition. Stefano will be James’ best man at his wedding!

French actress Marie-France Pisier was found dead by her husband Thierry Funk Brentano in her swimming pool at Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer in the south of France on Sunday (April 24). The 66 year-old most probably drown since there were no signs of foul play.

The authorities are currently investigating the case to determine the official cause of death. Marie-France started her career in 1961, when she was cast in “Antoine and Colette” and quickly became a New Wave muse.

Marie-France also won two Cesar awards, the French equivalent of the Oscars, for Best Supporting Actress for her work in “Cousin, Cousine” (1976) and “Barocco” (1977). The actress was described by President Nicolas Sarkozy as “a supreme elegance born from the most perfect simplicity”.

With MTV’s The Jersey Shore gearing up for another season, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is kicking her fitness routine into high gear.  It seems the endless slew of comments about her weight have finally caught up with the 4’9″ Guidette, who told People that she is now hitting the gym hard and has totally revamped her eating habits.

“[I have] egg whites in the morning and chicken and salads,” Snooki reports. “And if you do drink, it’s gotta be clear liquors.”

And it seems the workouts are playing off!  Last week Snooki tweeted a photo of her new slim and trim body to her nearly two million followers.  And although I could’ve done without the 4″ peeptoe stilettos and weird shirt/dress ensemble, I have to say, the girl looks good.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look as though the road to permanent weight loss will be smooth sailing for the newly svelte Snooki. With Season 4 of The Jersey Shore set to film in Italy, Snooki worried to People that her new diet plan may face a few challenges across the pond:

“All we’re gonna eat is pasta,” she said. “I’m very, very scared – drinking wine and having spaghetti all day [would] throw me off course.”

Best of luck to you Snooki; Julia Roberts gained 10 lbs. while filming Eat, Pray, Love in Italy, but I’m sure you’ll do just fine…

While the worst thing most girls her age deal with is Bieber-fever, Jennifer del Rio is facing allegations from boyfriend Jason Smith, that she tricked him into getting her pregnant for a spot on the hit MTV reality show.

Shocking isn’t it?  No one ever saw that one coming.

Smith filed documents to issue a restraining order against his baby mama after their domestic dispute earlier this week.   Calling del Rio, “A compulsive liar,”, Smith alleges that she duped him into not using protection by giving him fake sonogram pictures to lead him to believe she was already pregnant with his baby.

“She was giving me sonogram pictures … that she claimed was ‘our baby’ when actually it was her friend’s sonogram pictures she copied…”She lied to me and my parents for three months saying she was pregnant. She wanted so desperately to be on Sixteen and Pregnant.”

It’s that same tired old story.  Girl meets boy.  Girl falls for boy.  Girl fakes pregnancy to get famous on a cable TV reality show.  We’ve heard it a million times.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver, Brandon Marshall, was stabbed by his wife, Michi Nogami-Marshall, with a kitchen knife and rushed to the hospital where he underwent emergency surgery for a stab wound to the stomach on Friday (April 22), according to Sportscasm.

More Details @Sportscasm. The 27 year-old NFL star is currently in the ICU at Broward General Hospital, but is expected to make a full recovery in 2 to 3 weeks since no vital organs were hit.

Marshall’s agent said in a statement, “This is a very difficult time for Brandon and family, thankfully he will make a full recovery … We simply ask that his privacy is respected.”

When asked about the incident, Brandon reportedly told cops that he had “slipped and fell onto a broken glass vase”, except there was no blood near the broken vase in question. Furthermore, Brandon had a clean cut, the type of cut done by a sharp object not broken glass. Michi told cops she stabbed him in self-defense.

Brandon’s wife Michi (mugshot below) was arrested for domestic violence and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Michi, who married Brandon last year, is being held on $75,000 bond.

“In Plain Sight” star, Mary McCormack, and her husband, producer Michael Morris, are excited to be expecting their third child this fall. Michael and Mary were married in 2003 and they already have two daughters, 6½ year-old Margaret and 3½ year-old Rose.

The 42 year-old actress’ pregnancy will actually be included into the USA Networks’ show. Her character Mary Shannon will face new challenges as an expectant mother. “The upside of being knocked up along with my character – no need for stunt boobs,” Mary said.

“In Plain Sight” season 4 premieres on May 1. Congratulations to the McCormack-Morris family!!
