Steven Tyler loved it and we would love if Scotty’s boot scooted a little more. LOL. Jennifer Lopez appreciated Scotty’s story telling quality, but said they expect more from him at this point in the competition. Randy Jackson didn’t like his song choice and said it was a bit boring.

Finally, the judges star giving the contestants some sort of criticism. Scotty is fantastic. I love his voice, but this performance was one of his worse. He needs to get out of his safety box and wow us. This was truly boring. Not to mention the song is not even from the 21st century. “Swingin’” was written and recorded by John Anderson in 1983. BOO!

Oh. No. Seriously? Why are they back? I don’t get it. They returned to prove they are alright and they are all still rock stars. Really? Paul just completely ruined it. The girls didn’t show any great vocal skills and I almost forgot Thia was there. The judges loved it. Steven Tyler went as far as saying America is going to think twice after watching this. Well… not really!

Pia is performing and her rumored boyfriend, Dancing With The Stars pro ballroom dancer Mark Ballas, is in the audience tonight. How cute!?! Is this some type of major publicity stunt by Pia? It looks like it because it is really working on keeping her in the spotlight.

“TV On The Radio” bassist, Gerard Smith, sadly passed away after a short battle against lung cancer on Wednesday morning (April 20). The 34 year-old bassist, who joined the group in 2005, was diagnosed with cancer after recording their latest album “Nine Types Of Light”, which was released on April 11th.

The band released the following statement on their official website:

“We are very sad to announce the death of our beloved friend and bandmate, Gerard Smith, following a courageous fight against lung cancer. Gerard passed away the morning of April 20th, 2011. We will miss him terribly.”

The band announced Gerard was diagnosed with lung cancer back in March. They wrote at the time:

“Upon the completion of ‘Nine Types of Light’, Gerard was diagnosed with lung cancer. As a result, he has been undergoing treatment and will be unable to participate in the upcoming tour.”

“Gerard is fortunate enough to have health insurance and is receiving excellent medical care. Already we have seen dramatic results. Combine that with Gerard’s legendarily willful disposition and it might just be cancer that has the problem. We appreciate your concern and support for Gerard and his family.”

TV On The Radio has cancelled five upcoming tour stops (Detroit, Chicago, two in Minneapolis and Denver between April 20 and April 26) as they mourn the loss of their bassist.

Lindsay Lohan is a warrior. Marc Fiore, the producer of the biopic “Gotti: Three Generations”, just announced today Lindsay would no longer be playing the role of Victoria Gotti in the movie because of disagreements with the actress’ management.

Fiore said, “We are not talking any further about Lindsay playing Victoria. She is no longer being considered. The talks have stopped. We are going to meet with other people [for the role].”

“She a wonderful person,” Fiore tells PEOPLE. “Her legal case has nothing to do with it. We just couldn’t reach terms.”

And that makes Lindsay another unemployed winner. Fiore is willing to work with Lindsay, so why is her management making it so difficult to sign her? This would have been Lindsay’s most significant role since her Herbie, Fully Loaded days.

Lindsay was invited to meet the Gotti family (Victoria Gotti pictured above) and John Travolta, who will play Gotti Sr. in the movie, at a press conference on April 12. The troubled actress was perfect for the role and she really wanted to be part of this project. So, Lindsay decided to make herself useful and get herself a job.

Lindsay called Fiore and begged for a role in his movie. Lindsay is now set to play John Gotti Jr.’s daughter-in-law, Kim, a role originally considered for Kim Kardashian. That’s better than unemployment.

Impressive. Lindsay still managed to lose while winning. She was dropped, lost her role and got herself a smaller role with the promise of appearing in another Fiore movie called “Mob Street”.

Oscar-nominated director Tim Hetherington, best known for co-directing the documentary film “Restrepo” about the Afghanistan war, was tragically killed when he and his group were hit by mortar fire in Libya.

The 41 year-old and his team were documenting the Libyan civil war when they were injured by a rocket propelled grenade in a skirmish between rebels and government forces. One of the photographers, Chris Hondros, suffered a critical brain wound, but there is no official report on his current condition.

Hetherington was rushed to the hospital with extensive shrapnel wounds. Unfortunately, the director did not resist and was pronounced dead as soon as he arrived. A few hours before his death, Hetherington tweeted, “In besieged Libyan city of Misrata. Indiscriminate shelling by Qaddafi forces. No sign of NATO.”

The Hetherington family released the following statement:

“It is with great sadness we learned that our son and brother photographer and filmmaker Tim Hetherington was killed today in Misrata, Libya by a rocket-propelled grenade. Tim will be remembered for his amazing images and Academy Award nominated documentary ‘Restrepo’ which he co-produced with his friend Sebastian Junger. Tim was in Libya to continue his ongoing multimedia project to highlight humanitarian issues during time of war and conflict. He will be forever missed.”

R.I.P. Tim Hetherington.

Actress Catherine Zeta-Jones recently sought treatment for bipolar II disorder, a mental illness characterized by long periods of depression alternating with episodes of mania, and now she was wants to speak out and try to help people suffering from the same condition.

The 41 year-old actress was always by her husband, actor Michael Douglas’ side while he was battling cancer and that pressure made it impossible for Catherine to function without some professional help.

“This is a disorder that affects millions of people and I am one of them,” the actress tells PEOPLE in an exclusive statement in this week’s cover story. “If my revelation of having bipolar II has encouraged one person to seek help, then it is worth it. There is no need to suffer silently and there is no shame in seeking help.”

Catherine checked herself in to Silver Hill Hospital to get treatment before she began filming the romantic comedy “Playing The Field”. The actress wanted to be ready for a new challenge and to be able to continue raising her two children, 10 year-old Dylan and 8 year-old Carys.

“The simple things would just seem overwhelming, like going out to dinner,” says the close friend. “There was just a little piece of her chipped away. It was hard to watch because I knew how hard she was trying.”

Catherine was very brave to reveal her struggle with the disease because, hopefully, people will also feel that it’s OK to admit they are not fine and seek help as soon as possible.

MTV’s “16 & Pregnant” Jennifer Del Rio allegedly punched her boyfriend and baby daddy, 19 year-old Josh Smith, during a nasty argument in Hillsborough, California on Tuesday (April 19). Cops were called to the scene, but no arrests have been done until now.

Josh told the police the mother of his twins attacked him because he was desperately trying to break up with her. Jennifer got angry and “punched him in the face and pulled on his shirt”. Josh had to push her away to defend himself from her ire.

This is not the first domestic violence incident at Jen and Josh’s home. In November 2010, Josh was arrested for attacking Jennifer and was ordered to complete a domestic violence program.

So young and so screwed! The scariest thing is these kids have two babies to raise!
