Reality star Kim Kardashian flaunted her incredible voluptuous curves in a little white dress on the orange carpet of the 2011 Kids’ Choice Awards held at USC’s Galen Center in Los Angeles, California on Saturday (April 2)- more pictures below.
The ruffled dress is super cute, extra flirty, but that cleavage is absolutely not appropriate for kids/family oriented event. There’s too much going on – too much legs and too much boobies!
Kim, who was accompanied by her sisters, Kourtney Kardashian, Kendal Jenner and Kylie Jenner, loved the night and was happy to finally meet actress Sofia Vergara (photos here).
Kim tweeted, “The awards were so fun! Thank heaven we didn’t get slimmed!!!! I met @SofiaVergara tonight. She is soooo beautiful & was soooo sweet! Love u Sofia xo”
Singer/actress Miley Cyrus looked absolutely stunning in a beautiful flowy Dolce & Gabbana Floral dress with a long tail on the orange carpet of the 2011 Kids’ Choice Awards held at USC’s Galen Center in Los Angeles, California on Saturday (April 2)- more pictures below.
Wow. We haven’t seen Miley looking that good and totally appropriate in a long, long time. I absolutely love the dress. It’s gorgeous. The hair and makeup is flawless. In my opinion, Miley was the best dressed celeb at the 2011 KCA. And she is probably a bit overdressed for the occasion. LOVE it!
“Modern Family” star, Sofia Vergara, opted for the casual chic look with a hot pair of jeans, a bedazzled top and high heels on the orange carpet of the 2011 Kids’ Choice Awards held at USC’s Galen Center in Los Angeles, California on Saturday (April 2)- more pictures below.
The 38 year-old actress was excited to attend her first KCA and to meet stars like Kim Kardashian and Joe Jonas, with whom she took a picture to post on her official Twitter account with the caption: “And now with @joejonas every teenager’s crush!!” (see photo below).
Jack Black hosted 2011 Kids’ Choice Awards held at USC’s Galen Center in Los Angeles, California on Saturday (April 2). Sorry. There were no awards for Twilight this year, but this was one of the most fantastic award ceremonies ever for Nickelodeon.
The Black Eyed Peas, Willow Smith, Victoria Justice and Big Time Rush (ft. Snoop Dogg) performed on stage at the show. Actor/singer Justin Timberlake was honored with the Big Help Award for his work with the Shriners Hospital for Children.
Actor David Leisure, best known as First Krishna in “Airplane” and as the infamous commercial pitch man Joe Isuzu, decided to file for divorce from his wife, Patricia Bunch, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the end of their relationship.
The 60 year-old actor also asks in the court documents that Patricia is denied spousal support. Patricia and David tied the knot in 1997 and they separated after seven years of marriage back in 2004. They have been trying to make it work, but David decided to finally put an end to it.
David and Patricia have no children together. The actor has two children from previous marriages to Flora Kleinfeld (1975 – 1983) and Kelly Hutchinson (1989 – 1994).
The self-entitled Unemployed Winner started the show with a Q&A segment, during which he happily answered questions from the audience about basically everything, including favorite porn stars and crack cocaine.
Then he showed segments of one of his infamous interview and ripped it apart. The crowd started to cheer him and ended up booing him and walking out as Charlie’s “jokes” just bombed. Charlie called his buddy, Simon Rex, to rap for the crowd. They got angrier.
Charlie then played the track “Winning”, which was recorded by Snoop Dogg especially for Charlie, but when neither Snoop or Charlie came out, the crowd started booing again. Charlie’s show was a major fiasco and people paid a fortune for those tickets.
People started to walk out, but when Charlie returned to stage to entertain whoever stuck around to see him he started complaining about the audio and he walked off the stage to never return again.
During the day, Charlie tweeted, “#TruthTorpedo The moment of truth is upon us Detroit!! Do not fear…the Sheenius is here! Ybw. The most honest city in the world honors the most honest man in the universe.” The actor even posted a picture of the happy crowd before things got ugly. Can we say #LOSER?
Professional motocross racer, James “Bubba” Stewart, was handcuffed and arrested for impersonating an officer after he tried to stop a vehicle while driving his 2008 Toyota Tundra with flashing red and blue lights in Orlando, Florida last Sunday night.
Unfortunately, in the car he tried to stop traveled several off-duty cops, who immediately called some on-duty buddies to promptly arrest the supercross star. Bad luck! The 25 year-old was charged with impersonating an officer and released on bail.
The one and only Stephen Colbert and The Roots offered the most incredible cover of YouTube sensationRebecca Black’s hit “Friday” on the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Friday (April 1)- see video above.
Incredible. Colbert is a genius! “Friday”, the worst song ever (watch video HERE), suddenly became a hit with the precious help from The Roots, talk show host Jimmy Fallon, American Idol alum Taylor Hicks and the hot girls from Knicks City Dancers.
AWESOME. Fun, fun, fun, fun…looking forward to the week-end!
Actor Matthew McConaughey has been best known the past five years for his beach workouts, runs with Lance Armstrong, and for settling down to have two children (Levi and Vida) with his girlfriend Camila Alves.
During that time, his movie career took a downturn with box office bombs such as Sahara and Fool’s Gold.
In McConaughey’s latest film, The Lincoln Lawyer, he needed to prove to moviegoers that he was a serious actor again. Could he still pull of a Jake Brigance (A Time To Kill) like performance or had he turned forever into Dirk Pitt (Sahara).
The Lincoln Lawyer is about a L.A. defense attorney named Mick Haller, played by McConaughey, that does most of his client’s work from the back of his Lincoln Town Car that is driven by Earl (Laurence Mason). It is implied that Haller lost his driver’s license and hence the reason that Earl drives him around.
The film centers around a trust fund kid Louis Roulet (Ryan Phillippe) who is charged with aggravated assault for beating, raping, and nearly killing a prostitute. It seems like your normal CSI drama until the script takes a couple of left turns and jumps off of the Hollywood sign.
Haller quickly finds himself having been played by his new client as he tries to protect his family from harm finding them as well. The storyline becomes a bit complicated when Haller finds out that his client, Roulet, is in fact guilty and also another prostitute several years ago. A crime that one of Haller’s old clients had wrongfully been sent to San Quinten for, something that does a number on Haller once he realizes it.
There is a bit of a love story between Haller and his ex wife Margaret McPherson, played by Marissa Tomei, who is a prosecutor that quickly realizes just how deep Haller is behind the 8-ball with his client.
McConaughey, who is showing some wear and tear around the edges physically, shows in The Lincoln Lawyer that he can is still a box office draw. Although he might fall short of Jake Brigance in his role of Mickey Haller, Matt proves he is back and should be taken seriously once again.
He seems more focused in the role of Haller than he has in any recent role. He is still playing a fictional off-shoot of himself Haller who likes to drink, laugh, make jokes, and get his clients off in some highly unusual if not questionable ways.
Without ruining the suspense or ending of the film, I found that it was a bit rushed, cut and pasted together, and confusing. The build up and action of the movie was superb for nearly 2 hours. Then the conclusion and loose ends seem hurried and unnecessarily packed into the last five minutes of the film.
Watch the Trailer for The Lincoln Lawyer Below:
The film had great acting from McConaughey, Tomei, Phillippe, William H. Macy, Josh Lucas (who looked sub-standard next to McConaughey in the court room), and Bryan Cranston.
The movie is worth seeing and the plot is pretty unique. The movie is based on the book by the same name by Michael Connelly.
FOX’s Bones star Emily Deschaneland her husband, actor/writer David Hornsby, best known as Rickety Cricket in “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia”, have confirmed they are expecting their first child.
So how much will Emily’s pregnancy affect “Bones”? And, more importantly, how will it affect Dr. Temperance “Bones” Brennan and Special Agent Seeley Booth’s (David Boreanaz) relationship? A rep for the show says, “no word yet on how production will handle [the pregnancy] at this point.”
The Brown woman, Melody Brown, Deondra Brown and Desirae Brown, decided to speak out because their father was planning on managing other child stars. It’s never too late to make the right thing and it’s never too late to face the music.
The 55 year-old was charged with one count of first-degree sodomy upon a child and two counts of second-degree felony sexual abuse of a child. These charges would have been equivalent to 25 years to life sentence, but the plea agreement says he must serve at least 10 years of the sentence.
American Idol alum Constantine Maroulis and his former partner, Angel Reed, proudly showed off their 3 month-old baby girl named Malena James Reed-Maroulis. Angel and Constantine are no longer a couple, but they will do the best they can to raise their daughter.
The 35 year-old totally fell in love the minute he laid eyes on his bundle of joy. Unfortunately, Constantine cannot spend more time with his baby girl because he is working hard to be able to give her a better future and make her proud one day.
“I was to have two weeks off [from Rock of Ages] during those Christmas dates,” Maroulis explains. ”The baby came the 23rd, almost the 24th — Christmas Eve. I got there the day before. Came out, we had the baby the next day.”
“She looked like a raspberry when she came out — like a blueberry in Willy Wonka,” he laughs of his “beautiful” baby girl. “Then they swaddled her like this little Glo Worm.”
“It’s really hard [to be away], but I’m working so she can have a better life,” he explains. “One day Malena can look back and be like, ‘My dad did some cool stuff.’”
“Rock of Ages has been a huge blessing for me. I met Angel and we had Malena,” he notes. Though not currently a couple, “we’re best friends, and all our focus is on our baby.”
The Greek-American Idol wants to be the best father he can be for his child and that included to find a name suited for his princess. The name was inspired by a 2000 Italian movie titled “Malena”.
“I got tortured for my name for years. They called me Dean. To this day they screw up my name, and I didn’t want that to happen to her,” he tells PEOPLE. “I always loved the name. I’m not fond of a lot of Greek female names. James is my middle name and my father’s name. It just fit.”
