The song isn’t has easy to sing as it sounds. Haley was terrible. It was nice to see Pia Toscano singing something that is not a ballad. Guess she can sing. I barely noticed Thia was there too.

When Ryan Seacrest ordered to dim the light, one of the contestants was safe as expected (Jacob) and Naima learned she was in the bottom three. The Idol Cinderella was the first contestant in jeopardy and later joined by Thia Megia and Paul McDonald.

Unfortunately, two contestants were forced to leave the competition last night after Casey Abrams save last week. One of the contestants to get the boot was Naima, who performed a reggae version of Elton John’s “I’m Still Standing” (watch video here).

I actually enjoyed seeing the two country contestants on stage performing together. It wasn’t genius, but nice and entertaining. The contestants probably didn’t have much time to rehearse. What did you think of the duet/performance before results?
