They’re tan.  They’re fit.  They’re shallow.  They’re actually better looking than the originals…  They’re the cast of MTV UK’s Jersey Shore spin-off, Geordie Shore.

In keeping with their theme of providing only the highest quality programming for their viewership, MTV is set to premiere the British version of the fist-pumping reality hit on May 24^th on MTV UK.

Can the world really take another set of GTL-ing Guidos and Guidettes?  And wait.  Aren’t Guidos Italian?  Something about a “Family Dinner” of weak tea and fish ‘n’ chips, just doesn’t sound right.

The recently released Geordie Shore trailer introduces Jay, Holly, Sophie, James, Vicky, Greg, Charlotte “Loopy” Letitia, and Gary – and each one is tan-er and sluttier than the next.  Their words, not mine:

Going on to over-share that,

Vegas casino/real estate kingpin, Steve Wynn, and his fiancée, Andrea Hissom, decided to train for their big day by throwing a fake wedding ceremony at the Cupid’s Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada over the weekend (more pictures below).

The 69 year-old dressed up like the King, Elvis Presley, and celebrated with his younger bride, 46 year-old divorcee and mother of two teens, dressed as Lady GaGa. The real wedding is set to take place at the Wynn Chapel on Saturday morning (April 30).

Some have drawn comparisons between Steve’s wedding and the big Royal Wedding (on Friday, April 29), but Steve says his wedding is all about fun. The three day wedding extravaganza will count with several celebrity guests, including Clint Eastwood who will be the groom’s best man.

Twitter Power! New Kids On The Block star Donnie Wahlberg actually found a donor for one extremely sick young fan, Bobbette Miller, who continues fighting for her life and desperately needed a kidney transplant.

The 41 year-old singer/actor, who is stars in CBS’ “Blue Bloods”, read a link to a post Bobbette’s best friend, Abbie Vicknair, wrote to tell her friend’s story, which was retweeted by some of his fans. Then, Donnie retweeted it himself to his 186k followers back in December of 2010.

“Basically, a few of my Twitter followers retweeted a blog (called ‘Love Can Do Anything’) about a fan named Bobbette who was in desperate need of a kidney transplant,” Wahlberg told the Boston Herald. “So I saw the tweet, read the link and then retweeted and asked for help.”

“It’s a testament to the value of Twitter when used for more than telling people what one is eating for dinner or using it to sell products by tweeting as an #endorser,” he said.

The Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where Bobbette was being treated, received several phone calls from people who wanted to help. They were able to find Bobbette’s SIX viable donors.

New Kids On The Block’s Jonathan Knight IS Gay After All

Bobbette is scheduled for a kidney transplant in June. Donnie might have saved the girl’s life, but he doesn’t want to take the credit, saying it was all a “team effort”. Just fantastic! Go Donnie!!

Donnie and the rest of the New Kids On The Block join another boyband, the Backstreet Boys, to tour the country. The NKOTBSB just performed their hit “Don’t Turn Out The Lights” (watch video here) and their individual hits, “Step By Step” and “I Want It That Way” (watch video here), on Dancing With The Stars this week.

Actor Nicolas Cage’s son, Weston Cage, and his fiancée Nikki Williams had a very romantic ceremonial bonfire to exchange rings in Tennessee a couple of days before their official wedding ceremony in New Orleans on Easter Sunday (April 24)- more pictures below.

Weston offered his then bride-to-be a stunning emerald and diamond band that is probably one of the most beautiful rings I have ever seen in more than two decades of existence (pics below). I’m jealous! Weston is putting his daddy’s money to good use. The “kid” is also a sickly romantic guy. Nic would be proud.

As Weston was delivering a very emotional speech in front of the fire, cops arrived to see what was going on after several people concerned about the fire called them. Weston explained the situation and they were able to proceed with the ceremony. That is when Nikki gave Weston a very special ring – it’s a Thor ring!!

Steven Tyler thought it was beautiful, saying he saw God and heard God in Haley’s voice. Jennifer Lopez said it was beautiful (oh, please! Give the judges a dictionary!) and that Haley had one of the best voices in the competition. Randy Jackson didn’t like the beginning (but he must be out of his mind!), but said Haley nailed the end.

Haley is coming out of her shell and shinning by her own merit. Haley was in the bottom 3 for a couple of times at the beginning of this competition, but she has shown incredible improvement. Haley probably just needed to figure herself out as an artist and what worked for her unique voice. Good job!

Steven Tyler said it was beautiful and Casey finally found his niche. “It’s the best mother… loving show I’ve seen,” he says “You’ve made my scalp itch. It’s so good.” Jennifer Lopez agreed that Casey was finally in his element. Randy Jackson was impressed, saying the song was written for Casey and that he took him to New Orleans.

This is it! This is what Casey is good at. He flirted with the piano, the sax and threw his hat. Casey was absolutely ecstatic to be surrounded by the instruments, musicians and backup singers. That was awesome! The judges asked Casey for “less growl” to achieve perfection. LOVED it!

This is Scotty and Lauren’s third duet together. I always think Lauren does a better job when she is singing with Scotty… or maybe Scotty is that good. Scotty’s confidence must be contagious.  These two make a super cute and sweet couple.

Romance? Scotty says they are “like brother and sister”. That could get a bit incestuous. Anyhow, Jennifer Lopez loved it, saying Lauren sang her brains off and that Scotty did a good job. It was sweet and cute, but… no comments!

Steven Tyler loved the softer part in the beginning. Jennifer Lopez said it was magical, declaring him the star of the night and praising his consistency. Randy Jackson said James is in it to win it, proving he is a great singer and not just a great rock singer, and ready to take the title home.

That was a rocker’s rendition of the song. So James is a great rock singer and that is okay. James’ performance was good, but I dunno… he is probably losing the element of surprise and becoming too predictable. No matter what song he sings, that’s exactly how I expected James to tackle it.

Steven Tyler claimed Scotty never sang better and that he took him somewhere else. Randy Jackson was very excited, saying Scotty turned the other cheek after receiving some critiques last week and delivered a flawless performance. Jennifer Lopez noted Scotty is a great storyteller and he is getting better at hitting the higher register.

Yep, Scotty is back! He finally showed us a softer and sweeter side of his deep voice. Scotty came out of his box. You couldn’t even tell he is a country singer during the first part of the song. Then, he countrified it a bit here and there, so he is still staying true to himself. Those last notes were yummy. I loved it!

Steven Tyler made the best comment of the night when he asked Casey just how much he loved Haley. The judge says their performance was nothing but good. Casey and Haley definitely have incredibly chemistry on stage… and off the stage since they are reportedly “secretly” dating. This duet was hot, fun and entertaining, although it still doesn’t beat “Moaning” (watch video here).

Jennifer Lopez said she was very proud of Lauren because she pushed it and her voice cracked. Yes, it did. But that shouldn’t make you proud. Randy Jackson said she came with extra swagger like she was angry and meant it. He did say the song was too safe and boring for Lauren. Steven Tyler claimed that she shined when she cracked.

Blah. Who’s the cute guy, Lauren? Ryan Seacrest doesn’t like when the boy says he is 19 years old. Our Lauren is only 16. Boyfriend? Friend? Stranger? Who cares? Miley Cyrus visited Lauren to give her precious advice. And, seriously? This girl has incredible pipes, but she continues to pick the worst songs ever to showcase it.
