Steven Tyler said it was beautiful (*eyeroll*) and thought Jacob finally shook his tail feathers. Randy Jackson proclaimed Jacob is back in the competition, saying he is a great singer. Jennifer Lopez told them there were parts that weren’t perfect, but in the end he killed it. Really?

Carole King is an absolutely incredible songwriter and artist, but all these songs are like 3 or 4 decades old. Shouldn’t Idol be looking for a modern artist? King’s catalog is pretty extensive, but it was a bit boring if you ask me.

Now Jacob. I dunno, but I cannot like this guy after that “look in the mirror” comment. He started having a bit of a Diva attitude, which is totally the judges fault for kissing his @$$ since week 1.

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star, Kim Zolciak, who is seven months pregnant, and her boyfriend/baby daddy, NFL star Kroy Biermann (25), threw one of the classiest and most glamorous baby showers ever attended by 110 of their closest friends and family members on April 17.

“I put so much time into making it perfect. I’m really happy. I really wanted the baby shower to be special for Kroy,” says Kim, “this being his first baby — and a boy.”

The 32 year-old (WHAT? 32? In each foot, right? I kid!) is really excited to be expecting a baby boy since she already has two girls from a previous marriage. “I just don’t know what to do with a boy — I’m all girls!” Kim said. “But I hear the bond of a mother and son is like no other.”

90210 star Ian Ziering officially announced on Facebook that he and his wife, nurse Erin Kristine Ludwig, welcomed their first child, a healthy baby girl named Mia Loren (weighing in at 7 Ibs, 6 oz.), at 10:09 pm on Monday (April 25).

Ian wrote, “Well, it’s official. I’m a dad.” Later, he added, “As I sit holding Mia, Erin sleeps the most beautiful sleep. My thoughts race with visions of a brighter future, only made possible by what happens today…or, last night! God bless us all.”

Erin and Ian tied the knot in Newport Beach back in May of 2010 after meeting a pool party at the Roosevelt Hotel. The 47 year-old actor was previously married to actress Nikki Schieler for five years before filing for divorce in 2002.

Javier was not sure about his song choice because it wasn’t the type of song to hit the high notes. He was surprised when Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine immediately pushed the “I Want You” button. Next was Christina Aguilera and finally Blake Shelton turned around at the last moment.

Javier wrote on his official The Voice blog:

“My song, “Time After Time” by Cyndi Lauper, is a great song and I love performing it, but I was afraid it wasn’t going to be impressive enough compared to the other artists on the show. I basically told myself that none of the coaches were going to turn around early in the song. I was hoping I’d maybe get someone to turn around after the only high note in the song, which is in the chorus.”

“That audition was the most difficult, yet most amazing thing I’ve ever done. The pressure was insane. Knowing that there were millions upon millions of people watching was pretty un-nerving but I’m just glad its over. (Well, at least till the next show),” he added.

All the coaches would love to work with Javier, but he had a difficult decision to make. Blake is too country, Christina is too girly and diva-ish, so it’s between Cee Lo and Adam. When everybody expected him to pick Cee Lo, Javier said he wants to be on Adam’s team. Adam Levine #WINNING!

Frenchie was a contestant on the second season of American Idol, but she was disqualified because she had some very compromising topless and naked pictures on a p0rnographic website. The singer explained she had taken the picture to make some money to be able to go to college.

Frenchie did not give up on her dreams and she even had the opportunity of performing on Broadway. Christina was the only judge to turn around, but Cee Lo Green was the one who immediately recognized her. Frenchie is a proud member of Team Christina!

“OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t even begin to tell you what I am feeling right now. EVERYTHING IS A BLUR…all I know is that I am #TeamCHRISTINA! “The Fighter” Micky Ward’s mother, Alice Ward, who was played in the movie by actress Melissa Leo, sadly passed away after being taken off life support at a Boston hospital on Wednesday (April 27).

The 79 year-old was the mother and manager of both of their sons’ successful boxing careers, Micky and Dicky Eklund, who was his brother’s trainer. Alice had been hospitalized since suffering a cardiac arrest in January.

Actress Melissa Leo’s portrait of Alice earned her an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild award. Christian Bale also won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role as The Fighter’s brother, Dicky.
