Jacob Lusk made a comeback with a rendition of “Oh No Not My Baby”, which was sang by Maxine Brown (1964), Rod Stewart (1973) and Cher (1992), at the American Idol season 10 Top 6 live show dedicated to songs from Carole King’s catalog on Wednesday (April 27)- watch video below.

Steven Tyler said it was beautiful (*eyeroll*) and thought Jacob finally shook his tail feathers. Randy Jackson proclaimed Jacob is back in the competition, saying he is a great singer. Jennifer Lopez told them there were parts that weren’t perfect, but in the end he killed it. Really?
Carole King is an absolutely incredible songwriter and artist, but all these songs are like 3 or 4 decades old. Shouldn’t Idol be looking for a modern artist? King’s catalog is pretty extensive, but it was a bit boring if you ask me.
Now Jacob. I dunno, but I cannot like this guy after that “look in the mirror” comment. He started having a bit of a Diva attitude, which is totally the judges fault for kissing his @$$ since week 1.
