Beyonce Knowles stunned onlookers on the red carpet at the Metropolitan Costume Institute Gala 2011 honoring late designer Alexander McQueen.

The 29-year old singer walked the red carpet with her husband, rapper Jay-Z, in a very tight-fitting black and gold Emilio Pucci gown. The gown was so tight that Beyonce had trouble making it in the building and had to have help getting up the stairs (see photos).

Beyonce is a best dressed candidate for sure, coming in 2nd to Gisele Bundchen. The silhouette of the gown is perfect for her. A+!
