An Italian university, Istituto Lorenzo de’ Medici, is warning students to stay away from the cast of MTV’s Jersey Shore while the hit reality show is filming in Florence.

Dear Students,

Our Housing dept. has informed us that starting May 9th there will be shootings inside the 2nd floor apartment of your building.  We advise you to NOT sign any paper, let anyone in, and keep us informed.

Wait, there are going to be shootings and you’re worried about a few harmless Guidos?  I think Snooki and The Situation should be the least of your worries…

TMZ is reporting that the Istituto Lorenzo de’ Medici has offered,

Alternative housing close to campus…Also offered to issue a partial refund to anyone who has already pre-paid for their rent … and wants to leave.

Leave?  Are college kids actually trying to get away from MTV now?  Man, things sure have changed since Carson Daly’s day…
