Jennifer Lopez told Jacob he has an incredible voice and praised him for picking songs that mean something to him as an artist. Randy Jackson said he sees Jacob as the church kid (as Luther) not Chris Brown. UGH. Steven Tyler thought that Jacob still needs to find his own niche. Blah.

Jacob defends himself saying that he appeals to everyone as an artist just like Luther Vandross. And he is terribly wrong. Blasphemy! What the heck are the judges doing there? Jacob is no baby Luther. That was horrible and absolutely excruciating. Go home!!
