Just in time to cash in on her new chin, Bristol Palin has signed on to star in a new reality show for The Biography Channel. Palin and 2-year-old son, Tripp will be featured in 10 half-hour episodes that will follow the young mother and son’s daily life, which includes living with former Dancing with the Stars finalist Kyle Massey and his brother in L.A.  Sounds like a really enriching environment for Tripp…

But I guess anything is better than living around ex-finace Levi Johnston, who said of Bristol’s new look, “I haven’t checked her out so I really wouldn’t know…Go on, do your thing girl, because I’m over it.”

You sound over it, Levi.

In regards to why they’ve chosen Sarah Palin’s spawn as the face of their network, an A&E and Bio executive said,

Bristol is the kind of personality Bio is drawn to…Her personal life has been playing out in the media for several years but this will be the first time she’s opening up her real life with her and [her] son and her friends the Massey brothers.

I may be missing something, but are people really dying to find out more about an ex-vice presidential candidate’s daughter’s life? No?  Okay yeah – I didn’t think so.

The series is set to hit airwaves in late 2011.
