Jersey Shore’s First Weekend in Italy
The boys and girls who made GTL-ing famous have survived their first weekend in Italy, but not without ruffling a few Florentine feathers.
According to an American college student studying in Florence,
The general feeling towards Jersey Shore being in Florence is excitement that they’re shooting here, but also a bit of unease… I heard many older Italians express opinions of disgust for having these people come to their city.
Very appropriately, the Guidos and Guidettes spent most of their first few days bargain shopping, hitting expensive boutiques, sucking face with some Italian hotties and pissing off the local government. According to Florentine Mayor Matteo Renzi, “The cast has already racked up $375 in fines tooling around Florenc driving in a pedestrian zone and blowing a red light.
Sounds exactly like life on the shore.
