Steven Tyler said Scotty sang a big chorus in a big way and it was over the top good. Jennifer Lopez claimed the judges only wanted to see if Scotty could actually hit that chorus and he did. Randy Jackson thought Scotty was confident enough to hit the notes and he nailed it.

The judges’ song choice was kind of lame, but once again Scotty did a pretty good job telling the story how it should be told with the necessary intensity and swagger. Scotty delivered three pretty solid performances last night, but will it be enough to put him in the final 2? I think so.
