University of Florida Students Warned Not to Party with Jersey Shore
The University of Florida has issued a warning to their students studying abroad in Florence. Stay away from Snooki, or face expulsion!
UF has sent an email to all students in their study abroad program stating:
Any student who does agree to participate in the filming of the show, or who signs a waiver or legal agreement of any sort with MTV, will be dismissed from the program immediately.
UF has even threatened to call students’ mommies and daddies if they are caught associating with the MTV stars.
But despite their initial offensive assault, somewhere along the line, perhaps after TMZ released the rather harsh email, UF officials began whistling a different tune. The UF Director of Public Affairs released a statement saying,
Generally speaking, students may participate in activities outside their Study Abroad program as long as they meet the academic and living requirements of that program.
So, as long as UF students keep their grades up, they are free to drink, dance and “smush” with the Jersey Shore cast, at will.
