It’s the American dream, y’all! Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback Tony Romo married Candice Crawford, a former beauty queen and sister to Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford, Saturday in Dallas, Texas.

According to a local news station, the two married at Arlington Hall in front of 600 guests. Out of town guests were reportedly given a luxurious gift bag upon arrival that included Neiman Marcus gift card, assorted cookies, a mini-bottle of Champagne, chocolates, gourmet popcorn and Kiehl’s beauty products.

Romo began dating the former Miss Missouri USA in the summer of 2009. The football player, 31, then proposed to Crawford in December 2010 on her 24th birthday.

I’m shocked that Romo has finally settled down. In the past, he famously dated Jessica Simpson, Carrie Underwood and Sophia Bush.
