Steven Tyler told Haley she sang that song so beautifully. Jennifer Lopez agreed it was a beautiful moment, but she expected Haley to take it a little further at the end. Randy Jackson grilled Haley for looking like she was glad to get through that performance because he actually thought it was pretty good and pitch perfect.

Haley was seriously concerned about not forgetting the lyrics since it is such an abstract song. Haley is a fan of Stevie Nicks and Jimmy thought she would be able to show all her range with that song. The performance was beautiful, Haley is beautiful and the wind machine rocks!

Steven Tyler said it was beautiful and Lauren has a beautiful tone (*eyeroll*). Jennifer Lopez claimed Lauren has the most beautiful tone of the Idol semifinalists, but she cracked in the middle of her “honest” performance of the song and that is okay for a 16 year old. Randy Jackson echoes Lauren has a beautiful tone and declares she is in it to win it too.

Blah. This could have been Lauren’s moment. Jimmy Iovine clearly had Lauren’s best interests in mind with this song choice. However, Lauren lacked the charisma and maturity to take it to the next level. There is no doubt she is a good singer, but we want the confident and fierce Lauren back.

Steven Tyler praised Scotty for a confident delivery of the chorus. Jennifer Lopez claimed this is the type of songs Scotty should be singing and admired how comfortable he is in his own skin. Randy Jackson thought Scotty is becoming a great performer in the level of Garth Brooks and declared he is in it to win it. Blah.

Scotty, his guitar and a good charismatic performance. Scotty did an incredible job, which still felt like not enough for an Idol winner, but that is what will most likely happen. Scotty is ready to go to the studio and record his own country album. He is on the right track to a very successful career.

Steven Tyler loved it. Jennifer Lopez praised Haley’s performance and how she fell and moved on like a pro. Randy Jackson proclaimed Haley is in it to win it, saying she was fearless and that was one of her best performances ever.

Haley killed it! Her dad was actually playing the guitar. Amazing performance! Haley fell on the stage and continued singing like nothing happened. Those were some killer heels, but she nailed it. Haley clearly beat Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina to win the first round.

Steven Tyler declared Lauren is ready to have America all over her (pervert!) because she was just having fun on stage and sang like she owned the song. Jennifer Lopez loved how Lauren attacked the song and said that’s what she has to do every time. Randy Jackson simply said it was nice and that was a nice song choice for her.

Lauren keeps not giving us her best. She had some fun on stage, but she doesn’t own it. Lauren needs to be fierce if she really wants to win this. Beyonce told Lauren to create a “diva persona” to perform on stage like she created Sasha Fierce. Good advice!

Steven Tyler said Scotty keeps getting better and better, and that he kicked that song into the middle of next week. Humm… Right! Jennifer Lopez praised Scotty for reaching some higher notes and pointed out he has clearly grown as a performer. Randy Jackson said that was a great song choice and that Scotty’s got money.

The judges keep doing their thing. Randy just wants to look cool, Steven doesn’t really give a damn and JLo tries too hard, but lacks depth to offer constructive criticism. Yep, Scotty tried to hit some higher notes, he told the story of the song, but his performance was a bit boring. Idol is a competition. Show us the money!!

The world loved Prince William‘s mother Princess Diana, and Catherine Middleton has taken notice of that. Which is why she has joined a children’s charity that grants wishes of ill children. She has officially joined Starlight Children’s Foundation, which has expressed gratitude for her.

William’s mother was known for being active with the ill and poor, something that no one in royal family ever did before Diana. William and his brother Prince Harry have stopped hunting after the singer P!nk reminded him of his mother who opposed against animal abuse. William has also helped out the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

I am loving the fact that she is wanting to fill the void that Diana left when William’s parents split. Diana changed so much about the royal family. I hope Catherine will be able to also bring in a lot of good for the royal family’s image.

Andrew Morton  has written a book on the royal newlyweds Prince William and Catherine Middleton. Now he is spilling even more secrets to the media! His biggest 2 are the Middleton’s being competitive and William being extremely close to Prince Harry. However, he also takes on the topic of their mother who was his friend at one point.

Here is what he had to say about what Princess Diana would have thought about Catherine.

Diana very much preferred to deal with the middle class than the upper classes and the Middletons are resolutely middle class. I think she would have found in Catherine a young woman who she could have mentored. She always wanted a daughter through the labyrinth like world of royalty and with Catherine she was tailor made in a way. She’s already got a sense of style, she’s got a great poise, she would have been perfect for Diana to groom into a sophisticated princess.

He later went on to imply that she blamed everybody else for her issues. Something not very respectful to say  about someone who made your career.

I have to say that I find it tacky of him to go out of his way to insult Diana. She was the one who really helped shape his career. He would likely be no where if it wasn’t for her and her story.

Harold Camping, best known as a false prophet who likes to predict the end of times, said the end of the world and Rapture would happen exactly on May 21, 2011. And five months later, God will completely destroy Earth and the whole Universe on October 21, 2011.

And here we are – three days before the end of the world as we know it, according to the Christian author. The good news is the 89 year-old delusional man was completely wrong when he predicted the Rapture (the Judgment Day) would occur in September 1994.

Camping is clearly trying to beat the Mayans (watch video below). The Maya calendar predicts the apocalypse (the beginning of a new era) will take place on December 21, 2012. I just question why God would need five months to destroy everything, if he actually created everything in six days before resting on the seventh day.

I digress. The truth is the world will end on Saturday for some across the world, but it will be a brand new beginning for others and just another day for most. Dr. Doug Weaver, a religion professor at Baylor University, said of Camping’s delusion prophecy:

“I like to think that every prediction is automatically wrong because God wouldn’t let one particular person have the pride of saying ‘I got that one.’ God controls the end, not us.” And if Camping is wrong, “I suppose he will go back and re-calcuate. He has done that before.”

Kelsey Grammer, the ex-husband of Real Housewife of Beverly Hills, Camille Grammer, filed for sole custody of their two children today in L.A. Superior Court.  The Grammers, who officially divorced in early February, have been in a constant battle over their children for months and sources say the children have been having trouble dealing with the split.

Kelsey, who makes his full-time home in Chicago, has asked for joint legal but sole physical custody of the kids, who currently reside in L.A.

Good work Kelsey.  Nothing helps kids deal with divorce better than a cross-country move.

Sources close to the couple say Camille has agreed to 50/50 custody, but is unwilling to allow her ex and his new wife, full custody.

According to close friend and psychic, Alex DuBois, who instigated the dinner party, cat fight on RHOBH last season,

Camille is an excellent mother, and Kelsey truly doesn’t have a leg to stand on. Good luck with that battle Kelsey, you’re going to need it.

Only two days after losing primary custody of daughter, Leah, Teen Mom Amber Portwood, hit the town in Anderson, Indiana with boyfriend Gary Shirley, to celebrate her 21st birthday.  According to sources, the teen mother dined at Red Lobster and  partied until dawn at a local bar with Shirley and a few other close friends.  The group, “pounded drinks and danced into the early hours” while two-year-old Leah spent the night at Grandma Shirley’s house.

Maybe it’s appropriate behavior for a 21st birthday, but will the reality star be able to control her partying ways now that she’s legal?

It does seem Portwood is attempting to change for the better before her court date in November.  Of late, the 21-year-old appears to be keeping her nose clean and has even opened a Twitter account to interact with fans.
