Because they’ve got to do something else besides dodge grenades and beat up the beat while they’re in Italy, the Jersey Shore cast has been assigned to work at, Pizzeria O’Vesuvio, a local pizza haunt in Florence.  Pauly D, Snooki, JWOWW, Sammi, Ronnie and The Situation, were seen walking by the Florence Cathedral to their first day of sauce spreadin’ and dough flippin’.

While some locals appear excited to buy a slice from the reality stars, the cast’s new gig has spurred a crosstown rivalry with another local pizzeria,

Munaciello Pizzeria has placed a bright green sign in their window that says, “Tamarri Americans? ‘Jersey Shore’ . . . no thank you. Only real Italian pizza,” according to various Italian newspapers. Tamarri is Italian slang that can be roughly translated as yokel or uncultured idiot.

Munaciello Pizzeria isn’t the only voice speaking out against the arrival of The Shore.  On a recent appearance on the TODAY Show, Florentine Mayor, Matteo Renzi, joked, ”Maybe the arts could save The Situation and the other stars.”

Don’t hold your breath, Mr. Mayor.

Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s 17 year-old son, Patrick Schwarzenegger, recently announced on Twitter he had officially changed his name, adding the Achilleus (Achilles) and becoming Patrick Arnold Achilleus Shriver Schwarzenegger.

Patrick tweeted, “Just had my confirmation!Added achilles, Get ready for my new name: Patrick Arnold Achilleus Shriver Schwarzenegger. Now that’s a long name.”

Patrick made the decision to change his name before his mother and daddy publicly announced they were separated earlier this month. A couple of days ago, daddy Arnold admitted to have fathered a child with a housekeeper, who has been identified as Mildred “Patty” Baena (photos here).

The Shriver-Schwarzenegger family is in the spotlight for the worst reasons. Arnold cheated on his wife and lied to her and their four children for more than a decade. Former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s estranged wife, Maria Shriver, who left her husband after he finally told her he father a child with their former housekeeper, Mildred “Patty” Baena (photos here), more than a decade ago, was set to make an appearance on Oprah’s big finale on Tuesday (May 17).

Maria looked better than ever as she was received by the crowd with a standing ovation on Oprah. Earlier that day, the 55 year-old released a statement after Arnold’s shocking love child revelation, saying:

During her appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show finale, Maria did not directly mention her cheating husband, but she thanked Oprah for her love, support and for always telling her the truth. “THE TRUTH”, emphasized Oprah. That is a clear message for Arnold and the crowd applauded.

Housekeeper Mildred Baena, best known as Patty, was identified as the woman with whom Arnold Schwarzenegger had a love child more than a decade ago, while married to his wife and mother of his four “legitimate” children, Maria Shriver (pictures below).

The 50 year-old Patty and Arnold had a steamy affair, which included several unprotected sexcapades in the Shriver-Schwarzenegger home. Patty reportedly got pregnant around the time Maria was also pregnant with the couple’s youngest child, Christopher, who is now 13 years old.

Maria believed Patty’s baby daddy was her husband at the time. The woman worked for the family for more than 20 year and she reportedly made $1,200 a week. According to sources, Patty did not immediately tell Arnold he was the father of her baby.

When the former Governor learned he was the father of Patty’s toddler, Arnold was allegedly very “generous” and promptly offered financial support. Patty is currently single and living in a house with 4 bedrooms and a pool outside of Los Angeles with the boy and her three other kids.

Patty retired earlier this year before the scandal broke. Arnold finally decided to tell his wife the truth and that was what caused their split earlier this month. Maria has talking with several advisors and is expected to file for divorce sooner rather than later.

On Monday night, Arnold released a statement to admit he had a child out of wedlock and asked for privacy for his family. The face of Arnold’s “illegitimate” son has not been revealed in the pictures below. The boy, who is now 13-14 years old, looks exactly like daddy.

I know Arnold Schwarzenegger is catching a ton of heat this week for hiding his out-of-wedlock son with his hispanic housekeeping baby mamma from his wife Maria Shriver and family for over a year…

…but there is a silver lining.

Now we all get to enjoy Arnold back on the prowl, being the massive Austrian dating machine that knows no boundaries.  He will keep us all very much entertained in this day of social media, camere phones, and celebrity gossip.

In the video above, from at least two decades ago, Arnold is doing a (sexual) dating piece on Carnival in Rio with National Geographic undertones that is simply amazing and jaw dropping.

Who Was Eliminated on Dancing With The Stars? Tonight, another celebrity and their professional dance partner will be forced to leave the competition after the fantastic and controversial semifinal on Monday (May 16).

On Tuesday (May 17), the three couples with access to the big finale next week will be announced. Who will take the mirror ball trophy home? Chelsea Kane and Hines Ward seem to be on the fast lane to the finals, but the public at home still has to say who they really want to see take the mirror ball trophy this season.

I love Ralph. I also believe Ralph and his partner Karina Smirnoff have received the harshest criticism on the show. Judge Bruno was extremely rude with Karina last night. The pro dancer reacted like a lady and turned her back on him (watch video here).

Hines and his partner Kym Johnson delivered good performances, but they got some extra sympathy from the judges because Kym was seriously injured during rehearsals (watch video here).

Who will be in jeopardy tonight? Chris Jericho and Ralph Macchio should be in the bottom 2. I will be surprised and shocked if they are not, but who will be eliminated? I’ll take a wild guess and say Kirstie’s ballroom experience will be over tonight.

The four remaining celebrities and their professional dance partners battled it off on the dance floor in three rounds of Cha Cha Challenge at the Dancing With The Stars Season 12 week 9 semifinals on Monday (May 16)- watch videos below. Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas won the last Cha Cha Challenge in an instant round and earned 15 precious points, which basically puts them in the finals.

Round 1: Ralph Macchio vs. Hines Ward. Of course, the judges unanimously picked Hines Ward and Kym Johnson as the winners of the first round of the Cha Cha Challenge (the judges were too easy on the couple after Kym’s serious injury!).

Round 2: The energetic Chelsea Kane against the fierce Kirstie Alley. Once again, the judges’ decision was unanimous – Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas won the second round of the Cha Cha Challenge.

Kym was seriously injured during rehearsals when trying to do a lift both Kym and Hines have never done before. Hines fell on top of Kym and she could not feel her arms. Dramatic. They showed Kym’s injury twice and in slow motion (included in video below). That was not cool. Of course, Hines was devastated. Kym was worried about the competition.

The performance lacked the big tricks, but there was plenty of emotion. Hines was crying. Len Goodman thought that was like leg kamasutra and that’s what tango is all about. Kym had a minor wardrobe malfunction, but everybody was glad to have her back on the dance floor.

Bruno declared it was like group sex – you never want it to end! Carrie Ann Inaba got emotional and was just glad Kym is OK and they were both able to deliver such an intense performance. And Kym and Hines earned the first perfect score of the season.
