Former Spice Girl Emma Bunton, better known as Baby Spice, and her fiance Jade Jones welcomed their second son Friday morning.

In a statement, her rep said:

“Both mother and baby are doing well and the family are over the moon and would like to thank everyone for their kind wishes and support.”

Emma, 35, also expressed her excitement via Twitter:

“Our beautiful son Tate has arrived safe and sound! We are all so happy and excited. Thanks and love to you all,”

Jones, Emma’s longtime boyfriend, popped the question in January. They’re already parents to 3-year-old son Beau.

With the National Day to Prevent Teen Pregnancy just around the corner, MTV has released a public service announcement featuring some of it’s most well known Teen Mom stars, Amber Portwood, 20, Farrah Abraham, 19, Catelynn Lowell, 19, and Maci Bookout, 19.

It’s about time!

The PSA, which runs only 15 seconds, encourages teens to abstain from sexual activity, or at the very least, to use protection. Teen Mom Catelynn Lowell, who, along with her boyfriend, Tyler Baltierra, gave their daughter Carly up for adoption during the first season of 16 & Pregnant admits that, “The night that I got pregnant I wish that me and my boyfriend were cuddling and watching a movie.”

Farrah Abraham, another 16 & Pregnant Season 1 veteran agrees, “Just cuddling is better than going all the way.”

Teen Mom, Maci Bookout, encourages girls to hold themselves accountable for knowing what services are available to them, if they do choose to be sexually active.

I wish I would have known how to get birth control…and now I do and there are tons of programs and places you can go to get birth control and to protect yourself.

While this PSA has been a long time coming, I could’ve done without the short clip of a very smug-looking Amber Portwood.

Prince William and Catherine Middleton may already be royalty, but they are also considered stars here in American. So it makes sense that LA was wishing that the newlyweds would come around. Rumors started a few days ago, but St. James House has finally confirmed that after their first royal tour in Canada they will travel to LA in July.

No other details have been given, but many are saying that they will be meeting with stars. This will also be Catherine’s first visit to the US. She may find herself culture shock. Hopefully William will be able to prep her in time.

Princess Beatrice  has gotten a lock of flack for her Philip Treacy hat that she wore at the royal wedding. Yet the designer himself has come to the young Princess’ choice. Here is what Mr. Treacy had to say.

My inspiration was beauty and elegance; it’s a 21st century royal wedding. They didn’t tell me what they wanted because I’ve known them for a long time and I wanted them to look gorgeous and beautiful They trusted me to make them. Kate Middleton‘s wedding dress was kept secret all the way until her wedding day. Sarah Burton who designed the dress for the Alexander McQueen line almost gave it away. She was caught sneeking into and out of where Kate was staying. Sarah told this to the New York Post.

She also said that she and Kate both designed 50/50. But she was honored to be picked for the wedding dress design, and it was nice to keep it British.

I have to say that she did an amazing job. The dress turned out perfect, and classy. It will be talked about for years to come. I also think that it may have started a new trend.

British singer Cheryl Cole has been confirmed as the third judge joining Simon Cowell‘s The X Factor USA.

For the past three years, Cole worked alongside Cowell as a judge on the UK version of the hit talent show. She was most well known for being a member of the girls group Girls Aloud.

Cole will join Cowell and previously confirmed Antonio ‘L.A.’ Reid as the third judge, and said she was thrilled to be working on the show:

“I’m so excited to be taking part in the American version of The X Factor. I absolutely love it here in the UK, and with the talent they have out in America, I’m sure we’re going to find someone very special. I can’t wait to get started.

“I just can’t decide whether I am more excited to find and nurture the talent or for the unbelievable amount of amusement and entertainment I will have watching Simon doing everything and anything he can to beat me. He’s tried to beat me for three years in the UK, and hasn’t even come close. His ego must be so bruised. America is gonna love this.”

Cowell was equally excited about the British beauty taking part in the show:

“I’m thrilled for Cheryl. She is massively excited about this show, and has been fantastic to work with. She is also a complete brat! Most importantly, this girl can spot talent.”

Currently, Cole is still a judge on the UK panel, but rumor has it she’ll leave the spot, following Cowell’s lead. That will leave two available spots for new judges.

The Tudors star Jonathan Rhys Meyers, 33, has checked into rehab for alcohol addiction for the fourth time.

Reports surfaced that the actor, who has been very open about his addiction, spent 10 days at a London clinic last month.

He first reached out for help in May 2010, days after he abused airport staff that wouldn’t allow him to get on a flight intoxicated. The incident was rumored to be the “last straw” for girlfriend Reena Hammer, who reportedly told him, ”Check into rehab or I’m dumping you.”

Meyers apparently has an issue with airports: He was arrested in 2007 at the Dublin Airport for being drunk and disturbing the peace. The charges were later dropped. He was also detained by police in June 2009 at the Charles De Gaulle Airport in Paris after allegedly assaulting an employee at a bar while under the influence.

Wow. Glad you’re getting help, Jonathan. Stick with it.

Deadbeat baby-daddys on MTV’s 16 & Pregnant and Teen Mom shouldn’t come as a surprise to us anymore, but somehow, even when you’re expecting it, it still breaks your heart.

On this week’s episode we see Jamie give birth to daughter Miah – and boyfriend, Ryan, is nowhere to be found.  Nowhere to be found, that is, until five hours later, when he comes stumbling into the hospital, wreaking of booze and shame.

I have to hand it to Jamie, who had the best line of the episode when she quipped at her loser boyfriend, “You smell like you had fun.”  Well played Jamie, well played.

Of course, Jamie is no stranger to the idea of being a single mother. Her father abandoned her family and hasn’t looked back since; apparently only finding out about his daughter’s pregnancy over MySpace.  And nothing says “I’m a great dad” like a guy creeping around on his daughter’s MySpace.

I just don’t see things getting better for Jamie and her brood.  Although Ryan has promised to turn over a new leaf and stop his partying ways, (we’ve all heard that one before, Ryan) it just doesn’t look like it’s in the cards.  Especially after Jamie discovers Ryan has been cheating on her – for months.

Kick him to the curb Jamie – you and Miah are better off without him!
