An insider, who claims to know about pay arrangements, told PopEater:

“When you sign up, every contestant gets $150,000 for 6 weeks rehearsals and the first two shows. Then every week you survive you make an extra $10,000 then $20,000 then $30,000 and so on, so the winner takes home $350,000.”

That sounds like a pretty decent amount of money, no? Well, not to one former contestant, who complained about the grueling schedule on the show:

“The show doesn’t pay for massages or anything else. “The amount of physical stress and strain they put your body through, rehearsing six days a week, eight hours a day, is ridiculous.”

The source said “I have never worked so hard in my life” and described one particularly busy performance day: “Our call time was 6:00 AM and we were rehearsing with the band by 8 and then live on the dance floor that evening. That’s a 12-hour day.”

The rumors are true.  ”The Situation” is the latest Jersey Shore star to get his own MTV reality show.  An MTV spokesperson confirmed that,

The Jersey Shore star has inked a series-development deal with the network, which will reportedly yield a pilot to be filmed later this year.

Sorrentino joins fellow Shore-ers Pauly D, Snooki and JWOWW, who’ve also signed on with MTV to develop reality programs of their own. Pauly D’s spin-off will focus on his career traveling as an international DJ, while Snooki and JWOWW’s show will follow the dynamic duo’s everyday adventures away from the shore.

Up next?   A dating show featuring relationship experts, Sammi and Ronnie.

I kid, of course.  That sounds like a worse idea than another American Idol spin-off.  Wait…

Can’t say I’m incredibly tempted by any of these solo projects.  The magic of Jersey Shore is the alluring charisma of this over-the-top group as a whole.  And personally, I don’t think I could take an entire 22 minutes of looking at The Situation’s abs.

Reuters has released death scene photos from the compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan that terrorist mastermind Osama Bin Laden was killed at on Sunday.  The photos were taken by a Pakistani security official who sold them to Reuters and wants to remain anonymous.

The photos, taken by a Pakistani security official who entered the compound after the early morning raid on Monday, show two men dressed in traditional Pakistani garb and one in a t-shirt, with blood streaming from their ears, noses and mouths.

The official, who wished to remain anonymous, sold the pictures to Reuters.

Based on the time-stamps on the pictures, the earliest one was dated May 2, 2:30 a.m., approximately an hour after the completion of the raid in which bin Laden was killed.

Other photos, taken hours later at between 5:21 a.m. and 6:43 a.m. show the outside of the trash-strewn compound and the wreckage of the helicopter the United States abandoned. The tail assembly is unusual, and could indicate some kind of previously unknown stealth capability.

The White House had just moments earlier announced that they would not be releasing death photos of Bin Laden.  Leon Panetta and others had stated before that they strongly believed the White House and President Obama would release death images of Bin Laden to prove his death.

We all knew the world was set a buzz about Kate Middleton‘s wedding dress the moment their engagement was confirmed. Now that the world has seen it, knock offs of the now famous Alexander McQueen/ Sarah Burton design are taking over.

Many designers who make dupes for the originals started sketching the gown as soon as they saw it. Designers like Michelle & Henry Roth who sell their creations to the famous Kleinfeld Bridal Salon are some of the few who are making a dupe. The dress will be called Kate’s Dress and will be couture. The dress will not be the exact duplicate, but very close to the original.

I am so happy that Kate’s dress is being copied. I hope this changes the current trend in wedding gowns that we have seen for the past couple of years. What do you think about designers copying the royal wedding dress?

Prince William and his new wife, Kate Middleton may just be barely married, but already they have to spend time apart. William will be spending 10 weeks in Falkland Islands for helicopter training for the Royal Air Force. Catherine is not allowed to go with him, like rest of the wives.

Some are arguing that this will hurt the young marriage. However, the couple who courted for many years prior also had spent time separately during their courtship. After college, William started his career in the Royal Air Force and spent much time away at training. It was shown in the Lifetime movie “Will & Kate”.

I was concerned that people would start attacking their marriage shortly after they got married. However, I did not expect it to be this soon! Then again, someone started that silly rumor about a prenuptial agreement for those 2-I guess that is when the gossip really started over a “future” break up.

The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge will go on their first world tour next year! 2012 will be the Diamond Jubilee for Queen Elizabeth II, who is in her 80s now. Prince William and Catherine Middleton will be helping the Queen out on her duties of touring the commonwealths to celebrate her 60 years on the throne.

Rumors have been buzzing that the Queen will be maximizing out on the recent popularity of William and Catherine. Their duties and the demands for them are expected to grow a lot in next couple of years. Much like how Prince Charles and Princess Diana were in demand.

I do hope that William and Catherine will be able to live a semi normal life. It seems like a shame that they already have so much work lined up for them. It is not even a week that they have been married! What do you think about all of these royal visits lined up for them?
