Singer Alecia Moore aka Pink and her husband Carey Hart welcomed their first child, a healthy baby girl named Willow Sage Hart on Thursday (June 2). Pink had hinted about the pending arrival of their bundle of joy on Twitter, before finally confirming the news a few hours later.

Pink tweeted, “New Moon in Gemini today a good time to start something new…. Also called the Honey Moon. #intoit” Later, she added, “We are ecstatic to welcome our new beautiful healthy happy baby girl, Willow Sage Hart. She’s gorgeous, just like her daddy. #beyondblessed.”

The two new parents had an unstable relationship through the decade they have been together. Carey and Pink met and started dating in 2001, broke up in 2003, got engaged in 2005, married in 2006, separated in 2008 and reconciled before announcing they were expecting a baby in 2010.

The 31 year-old singer released a greatest hits album in 2010, which included a song titled “F***ing Perfect” that she dedicated to her unborn child (watch video here). Pink said, “”I have a life inside of me, and I want her or him to know that I will accept him or her with open and loving and welcoming arms.”
