“Still The One” singer Shania Twain was the star of the most embarrassing moment of the night as she fell on her booty on her way to the stage to present the Male Video Of The Year award at the 2011 CMT Music Awards in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday (June 8)- watch video below.

Fortunately, Shania was not injured in the fall. She quickly got up and went on to present the award. The crowd cheered and the singer laughed off the embarrassing accident. Later Shania took to her Twitter to talk about the incident (see videos below).

The 45 year-old posted a video on Twitter explaining the accident to her fans and followers. Shania said, “I’ve just made a complete fool of myself and experienced one of life’s most embarrassing moments! I didn’t hurt myself but I have a bit of a sore thumb. I’m going to auction off those shoes and get rid of them as soon as I can! I never want to see those shoes again… Or maybe I’ll keep them as a souvenir…”
