Country star Shania Twain looked extra classy in knee-length dress on the red carpet of the 2011 CMT Music Awards held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday (June 8)- more pictures below.

The 45 year-old singer had the honor to kick off the show with a pre-taped “Thelma & Louise” spoof also starring country sensation Taylor Swift. Shania also took a nasty fall when she was walking to the stage to present the award for Best Male Video. The “Still The One” singer was not injured and was able to laugh it off.

Shania just announced she has agreed to a 2 year residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada, which starts next year. Shania follows the footsteps of another diva, Celine Dion, with her own Vegas show. “Still The One” is set to begin on December 1, 2012.
