“Glee” creator Ryan Murphy announced he is engaged to his longtime boyfriend, who is rumored to be David Miller, without revealing his identity in an interview for KIIS-FM with Ryan Seacrest on Friday morning (June 17).

Ryan announced, “I’m with a great fellow now who I’ve known for 15 years, just got engaged and I’m very excited about it!” He might have not identified his boyfriend, but their relationship isn’t exactly a secret since David and Ryan were photographed at the 2010 Emmy Awards (picture above).

The 45 year-old also talked about his new show, “The Glee Project”, a competition to find the next Glee star. The winner will get the opportunity to play a part (a seven episode stint) on FOX’s hit show.

Ryan also revealed the GLEE cast will eventually grow up and be renewed. Oh, no! The pillars of the show continue to be Matthew Morrison (as Will Schuester) and Jane Lynch (as Sue Sylvester).

“The thing that I wanted to do and the cast wanted to do, we didn’t want to have a show where they were in high school for 8 years. We really wanted it to be true to that experience. We thought it would be really cool if we were true to the timeline,” he said.
