Rock and roll, baby! Actor Tom Cruise offered his fans and followers on Twitter the first look at his character, an 80’s rocker named Stacee Jaxx, in the movie “Rock Of Ages”, a big screen adaptation of the Broadway classic (more pictures below).

WOW! In the first official picture, the 48 year-old “Top Gun” actor looks incredibly hot shirtless, sporting long hair, several tattoos and a ripped physique while performing “Pour Some Sugar On Me” by Def Leppard.

Team Tom Cruise posted the picture on Twitter with the caption: “LIVE TO ROCK! Your FIRST glance at Tom rocking out as Stacee Jaxx on the Rock of Ages movie set.” Adding, “♫POUR SOME SUGAR…♫ Tom rockin the tats and gear as 80′s rocker Stacee Jaxx.”

“Rock Of Ages” directed by Adam Shankman (the guy who got dirty with Miley Cyrus last year!) also stars Catherine Zeta-Jones, Russell Brand, Alec Baldwin, Malin Akerman, Julianne Hough and Mary J. Blige.
