Say it ain’t so!

According to US Weekly, the entire cast of Jersey Shore is slated to be replaced after the filming of Season 5 wraps.  MTV producers are undoubtedly looking to find some cheaper Guidos and Guidettes to romp around half naked and fully intoxicated on national TV.

A source close to the show recently told US Weekly,

Jersey Shore producers plan to recast the MTV hit. ‘After this group comes back from Italy and shoots season 5 this summer, that will be the end for them… The new stars will be ‘a lot cheaper’… plus the current gang can feel free to pursue spinoffs.

Unfortunately, for all true blue Shore Lovers, it does seem to make sense.  Snooki, JWoww, Pauly D and The Situation all have MTV spinoffs in the works and the rest of the crew have other irons in the fire to pursue.  The new “Gorillas” and “Juice Heads” will have more time to fully devote to The Shore.
