This is ridiculous! Actress Jennifer Aniston probably thought it was time to set the bad girl inside of her free, so she decided to get her very first tattoo on the inside of her right foot. Jen debuted the new fresh new ink while out and about in New York City on Friday (June 24)- more pictures below.

The 42 year-old has confirmed the tattoo reads “Norman”, which she recently claimed to be her favorite word in an interview with James Lipton for Inside the Actors Studio on Thursday (June 23). “Who’s Norman?”, you ask.

Norman was the name of Jennifer’s dog, a corgi-terrier mix, who died at the age of 15 back in May of 2011. I understand Jen really loved her dog (who I am to judge? I’d do anything for my baby doggie too!), but a tattoo of her late dog’s name is kind of creepy… and totally ridiculous!

I don’t think that you understand just how close the dog is to her. If you have someone in your life for fifteen years, through the best and worst times of your life and they pass away ,then you do something that is in a way a relief and aids you get closure. Norman was her baby boy as she called him and he was there before she got true fame and even now. He was everywhere with her, I know that if I lost my darling dog (who I view as my daughter) then I would do something to honor her too.
How she chose to do it is up to her, we’re not up to judge and the fact you do I doubt that you can humanize a dog, yet when mourning arrives we belittle it. Shame really. I believe what she did was sweet and that this way Normal can be there with her forever.
Wow! All these “Yawn”s and “Lame”s prove how much you hate Jennifer. It appears that all of your posts are attacking whatever she does and how “desperately single” she is. You seriously have nothing to do? Oh wait, you have something to do. Your job is out commenting on whatever Jennifer does and while she makes millions out there, you are in here behind your little computer putting “lame” after every sentence. Get a life!
Its pretty pathetic to say shes ridiculous for tattooing her dogs name on her foot. really? how does it effect YOUR life? it doesn’t. I have a tattoo in Italian that reads “Vederli nel cielo” which means “see you in the sky” …. its for my dog that i had from the time i was 8 till i was 24. I am not sure people grasp the effect animals have on you when you have had them for numerous years. They are FAMILY. They are your friends no matter what you have been through. I just feel sorry for someone who has never experienced this love and loss. Its bitter sweet. You my friend, need to stop living your life so “lame” and maybe start EMBRACING life’s simple beauties. and again, if it doesnt effect YOUR life, im pretty sure you’re opinion doesnt mean ANYTHING.
