Rocker Jack White and his wife, British model/singer Karen Elson, have decided to divorce and they threw a party to celebrate the big event in Nashville, Tennesse on their 6 year wedding anniversary.

“Karen Elson and Jack White announce that they are getting divorced,” the two say in a joint statement released by their rep. “We remain dear and trusted friends and co-parents to our wonderful children Scarlett and Henry Lee. We feel so fortunate for the time we have shared and the time we will continue to spend both separately and together watching our children grow.”

“In honor of that time shared, we are throwing a divorce party,” the two say in their statement. “An evening together in Nashville to re-affirm our friendship and celebrate the past and future with close friends and family.” Adding, “This is only for close personal friends and family. So please no plus ones or dead beats.”

The 35 year-old The White Stripes musician and the 32 year-old model met when she appeared in the “Blue Orchid” music video. They tied the knot in a romantic ceremony in Manaus, Brazil a couple of months later in June of 2005. Jack’s ex-wife/bandmate, Meg White, was the maid of honor.

Jack and Karen have two children together, 5 year-old Scarlett Teresa and 4 year-old Henry Lee. The two will remain good friends and continue to be focused on raising the kids.

Congratulations to Jack and Karen for the most civilized divorce of all time!

“Game Of Thrones” star Peter Dinklage and his wife, theater director/actress Erica Schmidt, are expecting their first child together. Peter and Erica have been married for more than six years since they tied the knot in a private ceremony in Las Vegas back in 2005.

Peter and Erica confirmed they are expecting their first child, but did not reveal further details. The 42 year-old actor, who was born with achondroplasia (common cause of dwarfism), beat the odds and recently become a sex symbol as Tyrion Lannister with super steamy sex scenes on the HBO hit show.

E Street Band’s legendary saxophonist, Clarence Clemons, is reportedly seriously ill after suffering a stroke at his home in Florida. The 69 year-old musician is currently receiving treatment in a Florida hospital.

In the past, Clarence has suffered from several ailments over the last few years. He had double knee surgery, but he still suffers a tremendous amount of pain and discomfort. Clarence even appeared on stage in a wheelchair, refusing to cancel any concert.

Clarence recently worked with Lady GaGa – he performed with the eccentric singer during the American Idol season 10 big finale last month (watch video here). In February, Clarence said nothing would prevent him from going on tour with the E Street Band and Bruce Springsteen.

“As long as my mouth, hands and brain still work I’ll be out there doing it,” Clarence said. “I’m going to keep going ’til I’m not there anymore. This is what’s keeping me alive and feeling young and inspired. My spiritual teacher Sri Chinmoy told me that my purpose in life is to bring joy and light to the world, and I don’t know any better way to do then what I’m doing now.”

Our thoughts and prayers go to Clarence and his family and friends. We wish him a quick and full recovery.

Model/actress Devon Aoki, who starred in movies like “Sin City” and “2 Fast 2 Furious”, gave birth to a healthy baby boy on Friday (June 10). This is the first child for the 28 year-old model and her fiancé James Bailey, who proudly announced the news on Twitter (see first pictures below).

James said, “Celebrating the birth of our son and Devon and my anniversary yesterday is more than I could ever ask for. Our family keeps growing.” Later he added, “Exhausted 38 hours later but seeing him open his eyes and follow Devon and I and respond to music is worth every hardship.”

The proud new daddy did not resist posting the first pictures of his bundle of joy on the social networking site. Devon and James announced their engagement and pregnancy earlier this year. However, the happy couple had become engaged last summer.

That’s such a cute, adorable baby boy! Congratulations to the new parents!

Spider-Man movie producer, Laura Ziskin, best known as the co-founder of Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C), sadly passed away at her home in Santa Monica after losing a long seven-year battle against breast cancer on Sunday night (June 13).

The 61 year-old reportedly died peacefully in her sleep while surrounded by friends and family. Laura worked on movies like “Pretty Woman” and “As Good As It Gets”, and became the first woman to solely produce the Academy Awards back in 2002. She was currently working on the fourth installment of the “Spider Man” franchise.

SU2C says in a statement: “It is with great sadness that we share with you the news that our colleague and dear friend Laura Ziskin, cofounder of Stand Up to Cancer, passed away peacefully today at her home in Santa Monica.

“While our hearts are broken, this loss strengthens the determination of the entire Stand Up To Cancer family to make Laura’s fervent wish one day become a reality: to make it possible for everyone diagnosed with cancer to become long-term survivors.”

Laura Ziskin was one of the most influential and inspiring women in Hollywood. “Stand Up To Cancer” has raised more $200 million to prevent, diagnose and fight the disease since May 28, 2008.

Season 3 of Teen Mom is set to premiere on MTV, July 5th, but the recently released promo already has fans drooling for more.

The trailer features fan favorites, Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra, discussing moving in together.  Sounds like a healthy choice for a couple of high schoolers, right?

While Tyler’s mother seem vehemently opposed to the whole idea, I don’t think the couple will be paying much heed to her advice. By the looks of their parents’ past life choices, I think doing the exact opposite of whatever they suggest would probably be the way to go.

Against my better judgement, I’m rooting for Catelynn and Tyler.  Especially after reading Tyler’s bio on his Twitter account.

Some people never learn.

Even after the cast of Jersey Shore was told they were NOT to be filmed or photographed drinking during their stay in Florence, Snooki and gal pal, J-WOWW, stopped into a local bar this week and apparently, drank until they couldn’t walk straight!

The teeniest of all Guidettes, stumbled while exiting the bar (in broad daylight, mind you) and fell to the ground, scraping her knee.

Now, I’d like to give Snooks the benefit of the doubt and blame the fall on her ridiculously high wedges, but the girl lives in heels – she should know how to navigate in them by now!

And while we’re talking wardrobe, maybe you could invest in some longer shirt-dress things.  This may be shocking to you, but not everyone enjoys looking at the bottom of your derriere.

Looks like Selena Gomez isn’t going to be joining the cast of Teen Mom after all.

The Disney star’s hospitalization on Thursday due to profound ‘nausea and a severe headache‘, sparked rumors in the Hollywood community that the adorable starlet was carrying beau, Justin’s Bieber’s, baby.

Gomez’s camp insists the rumors are false, but they’ve got to admit, that would be one cute kid!

There are conflicting reports regarding what actually caused the singer to check into an LA-area hospital.  TMZ claims the singer is suffering from blood pressure issues, while US Weekly reported that the Wizards of Waverly Place star simply collapsed from exhaustion.

Personally, I think she swooned herself sick from all her hours spent locking lips with The Biebs.

Whatever the reason, Selena is apparently feeling much better and will be resuming all appearances, effective immediately.

Teen Mom disaster, Amber Portwood, plead guilty in an Indiana court Thursday, to two counts of felony domestic battery.

Do we really have to have trials for things to which the entire country bore witness?  Millions of people saw Amber tearing into boyfriend, Gary Shirley, on a Season Two episode of Teen Mom; the girl got caught on national television.  Case dismissed!

As part of her plea deal, the other two charges, a felony count of neglect of a dependent and a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery, were dismissed by Judge David Happe.

The judge also ordered Portwood to get her high school diploma, start a $10,000 college fund for daughter, Leah.  Way to go judge!

Portwood now faces two years of probation.  I will be shocked if she’s able to keep her nose clean for that long.

Congressman Anthony Weiner just announced he will take a short leave of absence from the House of Representatives and seek professional help to become a better husband, (father) and a “healthier person” after several Democratic leaders, including Nancy Pelosi asked for his resignation.

“Congressman Weiner departed this morning to seek professional treatment to focus on becoming a better husband and healthier person. In light of that, he will request a short leave of absence from the House of Representatives so that he can get evaluated and map out a course of treatment to make himself well,” Weiner spokeswoman Risa Heller said in a statement.

“Congressman Weiner takes the views of his colleagues very seriously and has determined that he needs this time to get healthy and make the best decision possible for himself, his family and his constituents,” she said.

“Weinergate” started when Rep. Weiner accidently sent a lewd picture to a college student on Twitter. At first he claimed his account had been hacked, but a couple of women came forward with details of their “relationship” with Weiner. The scandal blew out of proportion and Weiner is currently being investigated over a message exchange with a 17 year-old girl.
