The 45 year-old singer had the honor to kick off the show with a pre-taped “Thelma & Louise” spoof also starring country sensation Taylor Swift. Shania also took a nasty fall when she was walking to the stage to present the award for Best Male Video. The “Still The One” singer was not injured and was able to laugh it off.

Shania just announced she has agreed to a 2 year residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada, which starts next year. Shania follows the footsteps of another diva, Celine Dion, with her own Vegas show. “Still The One” is set to begin on December 1, 2012.

Kid Rock hosted the 46th Annual CMT Music Awards, which celebrated the best in country music videos over the past year in a ceremony held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday (June 8). Check out the complete list of winners below.

There awards were pretty well distributed. Everybody went home with an award. Blake Shelton was the big winner of the night with two trophies (Best Web Video and Male Video Of The Year), while his wife Miranda Lambert won Female Video Of The Year. Taylor Swift once again beat the competition to take home the biggest award of the night for Video Of The Year (“Mine”).

And Justin Bieber also won something. Country music? JBieber? Ah. Remember that Rascal Flatts collaboration (“That Should Be Me”)? Justin and the band won Collaborative Video Of The Year. Is Justin like a plague or what? He is everywhere!

Former Chicago Cubs star Mark Grace was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol at around 1 am after he was stopped by the cops for weaving within his lane in Scottsdale, Arizona on Memorial Day (May 30).

The 46 year-old, who was driving his 2009 Jaguar, was accompanied by a female passenger, and didn’t have his wallet or license with him. Mark actually admitted he had “a few drinks” – two glasses of Macallan scotch (one he had just finished five minutes before being stopped).

When the officer asked, “How do you think you did on the field tests” … Mark replied, “Not well enough.” He was taken into custody, booked for DUI and blood was drawn to measure his blood alcohol level. The results are pending.

Do NOT drink and drive. It’s really that simple.

Former Playboy Playmate, Suzanne Stokes, was arrested for possession of meth after she was stopped by the police for running a stop sign at around 12:30 am in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday (June 8).

The 31 year-old Miss February 2000 was pulled over and her car was searched due to an active warrant for her arrest as a result of another traffic violation. The cops found Suzanne was carrying meth in her car, and she was promptly taken into custody before being booked on a felony drug possession charge.

Suzanne was released from jail after posting the $11,000 bail.

Disgraced NY Rep. Anthony Weiner’s wife, Huma Abedin, a longtime aide to Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, is pregnant with their first child less than a year after they got married (pic above). The 35 year-old is reportedly in the early stages of pregnancy and obviously upset their marriage is the subject of public scrutiny.

It’s a GIRL! Actress Jennifer Connelly and her husband, actor Paul Bettany, welcomed a healthy baby girl named Agnes Lark Bettany in New York City late last month (on May 31). The 40 year-old actress decided to have a water birth at their family home.

“Everyone is healthy and doing well,” said Connelly’s rep. “The family is very excited.” Baby Agnes joins 7 year-old brother Stellan, and 13 year-old half-brother Kai, whose father is the actress’ ex David Dugan.

Paul and Jennifer met while filming the 2001 movie “A Beautiful Mind” and have been together for more than 10 years. The happy couple tied the knot in a ceremony in Scotland back in 2003.

This guy should be ashamed of himself. Calling up a magazine and making up an entirely fake story in a sad attempt to ruin my relationship!?!?! It’s just shameful and this guy should feel ashamed and humiliated. Is this your pathetic attempt for attention?

I’ll be damned if anyone, especially some loser I’ve never even met, is going to try to come between Kris and me. My friend Lauren London has never even met this guy, so to say she was the one who set us up is totally untrue. I find it so sad that a magazine will take the word of a stranger and try to pass their story off as true. And what’s even more odd is that this guy would carry on a “relationship,” yet never speak on the phone or see me in person! Makes no sense!

The text messages the magazine claims I sent this guy are pathetic. ‘Why don’t you put in effort to try and make me your girlfriend doll?” I would never talk like that to a guy. They just threw in the word “doll” a few times and tried to make it sound like me. I talk like that to my girlfriends, not to my man. It makes me sick to my stomach that any one can call up a magazine, tell an entirely fake story, provide fake proof, and the magazine will go ahead and run it… just to sell copies!!! What a crazy world.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again… don’t believe everything you read. The tabloids and weekly magazines will do ANYTHING to sell copies, and in this case they decided to run a false story, knowing they had absolutely no proof that it was real. It’s disgusting, and I will be taking legal action against In Touch magazine and Bret Lockett.
