Actor Nicolas Cage son, Weston Cage, was rushed to the hospital for a mental evaluation and possible 5150 psychiatric hold after he attacked his trainer at The Farmer’s Kitchen in Hollywood, California at around 4 pm on Tuesday (June 7).

Weston, who just recently tied the knot with his girlfriend Nikki Williams (photos here), was going through the menu when the trainer told him he could not eat something. The cops were called to the scene and had to threaten to tase Weston before they handcuffed him. They were so worried about his behavior that they called an ambulance instead of taking him to jail. Nashville native Jared Blake dominated his rock performance of the Kings of Leon‘ song ‘Use Somebody’ last night on The Voice.

All of the judges, that include country star Blake Shelton and pop mess Christina Aguilera, praised Blake’s performance of the song.

Blake’s performance was extremely strong and unique. Whether he wins or loses The Voice he will have a nice career come out of his extended exposure on national television.

Willie Nelson pled “no contest” to a to misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia charge, stemming from a November 2010 arrest.

I wonder what tipped off the border patrol to check Nelson’s tour bus.  Could it have been his 2008 cover story in High Times?  Or maybe it was his creation of the TeaPot Party and their slogan “Tax it, regulate it and legalize it”?  Or the fact that he sits on the board for The National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws?

Nice detective work guys.

According to TMZ, Nelson was originally charged with Marijuana possession, but pled down to the drug paraphernalia charge, which will only cost him a paltry $500 and zero time in the slammer.

Nelson’s attorney, Joe Turner, told TMZ, ”Willie is glad to have it all behind him. Everyone was very fair.”  The singer even performed his song “Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain” in the courtroom, at the Prosecution’s request.

If Nelson can keep his nose clean for the next 30-days, the charges will be expunged from his record.

I give it a week before he sparks up again.
