New York Jets Quarterback, Mark Sanchez set the rumor mill in motion when he grabbed a bite with the newly single Hayden Panettiere, last week at In-N-Out Burger.

Despite the fact that Sanchez and Penettiere are both single and on the market, Sanchez told TMZ that he “promises” he and Hayden are not an item, but that everyone would find out soon enough why they were hanging out together.

The infamous actress is on house arrest for a theft conviction. She was originally sentenced to four months in jail after she plead no contest to stealing a $2,500 necklace. Luckily for Lindsay, due to jail overcrowding and the fact that she’s a nonviolent offender, she was eligible for house arrest.

Even though the alarm sounded on the monitoring system, Lindsay was actually at home watching television and reading scripts. Her attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, said in a statement:

“Lindsay’s electronic monitoring system went off on Monday. When a representative from the monitoring company went to her home, the representative found Lindsay there. The equipment was replaced the following day.”

Lindsay will only have to spend 35 days on the arrest because of her excellent behavior and budgetary constraints. This is the first time I’ve ever heard the words “excellent behavior” and Lindsay Lohan in the same sentence. A+, Lindz!

Dr. Jack Kevorkian, best known as Dr. Death for being an advocate of assisted suicide for terminally ill patients, sadly passed away at the Beaumont Hospital in Michigan on Friday morning (June 3).

The 83 year-old doctor, who basically dedicated his life to offer others a less painful end, had been hospitalized for more than two weeks due to heart and kidney problems. In a press conference, Dr. Kevorkian’s lawyer, Geoffrey Fieger, claimed the good doctor would have killed himself if he had the chance to do it.

Fieger explained, “I think had he been able to go home, Jack would have not allowed himself to go back to the hospital. The circumstances were such that he was so weak he could not get out of the hospital, he was primarily sleeping most of the time.”

Dr. Kevorkian is believed to have assisted more than 130 suicides before he was convicted of second-degree murder back in 1999 and sentenced to 10-25 years in prison. He was released in 2007.

Dr. Death’s story turned into an HBO movie titled “You Don’t Know Jack” last year. The legendary Al Pacino portrayed Dr. Kevorkian in the movie, which earned him an Emmy and Golden Globe award. Dr. Kevorkian said of Al’s performance: “The only word for it in English is ‘superb,’ and even that is a weak word.”

“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, Camille Grammer, and her former husband, Kelsey Grammer, who married his girlfriend Kayte Walsh less than a week after getting a divorce in February of 2011, have just started a very ugly legal battle for the custody of two children (6 year-old boy Jude and 9 year-old girl Mason).

According to sources, Camille was ready to share legal and physical custody (50/50) of the kids with Kelsey, but the actor had other plans in mind. He reportedly filed for joint legal custody, but sole physical custody of the kids, who have not been dealing well with his father’s departure and new family.

Camille was shocked to learn he wanted to keep the kids when the kids want to live with their mommy in LA. The real housewife thinks he can’t get sole custody since Kelsey “abandoned his family and fathered a child out of wedlock … which speaks volumes about his parenting.”

There is more: Kelsey apparently only wants his son to live with him in Chicago, and plans to leave his daughter, who reportedly has learning problems, to stay with her mom in California. Kelsey denied the accusations, but there are legal documents proving he is a liar.

In a letter sent to Camille’s lawyer dated April 29, 2011, “Kelsey proposes … Kelsey shall have primary physical custody of Jude and Camille shall have primary physical custody of Mason.”

Kelsey is planning to enroll his son Jude in a Chicago school, while Camille just filed for the primary physical custody of the kids because she doesn’t want to keep them apart.

Kelsey’s rep, Stan Rosenfield, told TMZ, “Despite the fact that those connected with Camille Grammer seem to be hand delivering confidential documents to TMZ and other media outlets, we will continue not to make public statements about their private matters which can and apparently does beg for misinterpretation. There is no valid reason to drag the Grammer children into any media spotlight.”

Separating the kids is not really a good idea. I know some very successful cases of divorced parents who divided custody of their children that way, but they lived close enough for sibling, mom and dad to be a part of both of the kids’ lives. This is a difficult situation, but it would be a lot easier if Kelsey and Camille were both a bit more open to an amicable agreement.

The executive producer, Mark Burnett, told reporters Lynch, 50, was at the top of his list when it came to choosing this year’s host:

“Jane was my first — and only — choice as the host for this year’s Primetime Emmys, and I am glad she said ‘yes.’ She has incredible comedic timing, and is a charismatic, talented actress whose energy leaps off the screen and stage. I am thrilled and excited to have her as our host.”

Lynch will only be the third woman to ever host the award show; the first was Angela Lansbury in 1993, followed by Ellen DeGeneres in 2005. Nominations for the show will be announced on July 14.

57-year-old actress Ellen Barkin made her debut in a breakout role 30 years ago in the Barry Levinson-directed film Diner. Now, she’s breaking out by dating filmmaker Levinson’s 26-year-old son, Sam.

According to multiple sources, the couple aren’t just an item, they’ve been living together for more than two years. One source said,”They go out, they’re photographed together, they don’t keep it secret.” Another source called their relationship ”the worst-kept secret in New York.”

Barkin met Sam a few years ago when he sent her a script for his film Another Happy Day, which premiered at Sundance Film Festival this year. In an interview in February, he described getting Barkin on board for the film, but didn’t mention anything about a romance:

“She called me three hours later and said, ‘I’m not Julia Roberts so it’s not going to be an easy road, but I’m in it with you. Let’s do it.’ From that point on, she led the charge.”

In April, Barkin showed the New York Times Magazine around her apartment in NYC’s west village for a feature, but didn’t mention anything about having a live-in boyfriend.

She’s been married twice: first to the father of her two children, Irish actor Gabriel Byrnes, then to billionaire investor Ronald Perelman. Her rep said Barkin doesn’t comment on her personal life.

Mixed Martial Arts fighter, Tito Ortiz, claimed that his phone was hacked after “someone” posted a full-frontal naked picture of the MMA star on his Twitter timeline. The picture in question was uploaded to Tito’s photo sharing service, which is connected to his Twitter account.

After noticing the compromising “self-portrait” on his Twitter (pic above), Tito tweeted, “Someone hack my f**king phone. Sorry People.” To tell the truth, the image looks like an amateur Photoshop work. This is not what happened to Rep. Anthony Weiner!
