“90210” star Shenae Grimes recently met “Miami Ink” star, tattoo artist Ami James, and decided to finally get a tattoo inspired by Peter Pan in honor of a very special person in her life, who she calls her very own “Peter Pan” (see more pictures below).

The 21 year-old actress, who apologized to her mom after getting inked, wanted to share the deep meaning of the tattoo with her fans, in an attempt to inspire people, so she went into as much detail as possible explaining why she did the Peter Pan hat tattoo behind her left ear to cover up a scar.

Shenae wrote, “I won’t go into too much detail as it’s a very personal tattoo for me but it was a memorial tattoo for an amazing person in my life who was my very own Peter Pan. The hat from my favorite Disney character is a symbol of this person’s full life and contagious smile that will always remind me never to take life too seriously and always enjoy it like we did when we were kids. Some say he’s in heaven, I say he went home to Neverland and his spirit will always be with me, whispering in my ear to “smile, gorgeous” when life gets heavy. ”

“Ami wasn’t a fan of the awkward placement or the fact that I didn’t want color for my Peter Pan hat tattoo as he said it would look more like…something wildly inappropriate that I’ll let you kids make your own dirty-minded guesses on… but I was adamant about what I wanted and once we got started, he got into it and did an amazing and highly-detailed job as always!”

“I’ve been a fan of Miami Ink for years, which may have even spurred my young obsession with tattoos, so it was dope to get such an important tattoo in my life done by an amazing artist like Ami…and my view while it was happening didn’t hurt either… he’s kind of adorable.”, she added.

The Peter Pan hat is only the third tattoo for the actress. Shenae, who had a small role in “Scream 4”, has a big tattoo that reads “Myself and I” on the right side of her ribcage, and another very small one on her right wrist.

The Game star Tia Mowry and her husband of two years, Cory Hardrict, welcomed a son Tuesday in Los Angeles, according to their rep.

Actress Julie Benz, who is best known for her roles on hit shows Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Dexter, is engaged to marry her boyfriend of four years, Rich Orosco.

Marketing exec, Orosco, proposed to Benz on Sunday in private. He then surprised the actress with 60 of her closest friends and family joining in the celebration at a “Mexican-fiesta-themed surprise party” at their house in Los Angeles. The engagement ring is a ”customized Kwiat cushion-cut diamond and platinum engagement ring—complete with a diamond frame and milgrain edge band.”

Benz told reporters:

“I can’t believe that none of my friends leaked the surprise. It was like a Navy Seal operation.”

The actress was previously married to actor John Kassir from 1998 to 2007. No wedding date has been set for the newly-engaged couple as of yet.

NBA All-Star, Gilbert Arenas, claims that former finace, Laura Govan, is exploiting him and their four children, in order to appear on the VH1 reality show, Basketball Wives: LA.

Wait, someone is trying to manipulate an NBA player for money and fame?  Get out!

Govan says she’s simply using the show to get a new lease on life after breaking up with Arenas and giving birth to their son, Aloni, just three weeks ago.

I just wanted to showcase a new chapter in my life… A fresh start, a fresh outlook on life as a single mom.

According to reports, Arenas has filed a complaint with an LA judge, claiming that the VH1 show has no right to use his name or likeness in any of their programming, without his consent.  Court documents filed state that, “The very presence of defendant Govan and the title of the show is an obvious reference to [Arenas].”  Arenas and his attorneys hope that the court will place an injunction on the series, which would prohibit it from hitting airwaves.

This may be a totally mute point, but isn’t this show called Basketball Wives not Basketball Baby Mamas?
