The 26 year-old dental student’s paycheck is absolutely ridiculous when compared to other Bachelorette’s. The sixth Bachelorette, Ali Fedotowsky, was rumored to have scored close to $100,000 for her stint on the show, which means Ashley was paid 70% less than previous Bachelorettes.

It’s ridiculous! However, Ashley, the sweet, jealous freak, insecure girl from Madawaska, Maine, was not the first choice. Unfortunately, Brad picked Emily Maynard, the favorite (… and they have already broken up!), and the runner-up Chantal O’Brien rejected the job after she found a new love.
