Looks like someone’s finally come to his senses!

According to reports, Jersey Shore funnyman, Vinny Guadagnino, stormed out of the cast’s Seaside Heights home earlier this week with his suitcases in tow!  Has he been getting career advice from, one, Ms. Sammi Sweetheart?

In a shocking twist of events, an insider says that Vinny’s departure has nothing to do with shore house drama of any kind.  What?!

There was no fight, he doesn’t really fight with anyone… He had just seen his family and he got really homesick and packed his stuff up to go home. He actually was on his way home when he was intercepted by production, who convinced him to come back for a little bit longer.

Right, because everyone knows that in the game of reality TV, MTV trumps all.

Even MTV staff isn’t sure if Vinny will come back to finish up filming for season Season 5,

I don’t think he’ll make it through the whole season at all. It’s too long to be away from his family… They didn’t tell them they were going to be gone that long. They think bringing their family in is going to be helpful but all it does is make them even more homesick. He’s a good kid and really family oriented, so it’s really hard for him.

I have to say – out of the whole Shore bunch, Vinny definitely seems the most “normal”; maybe he’s just had enough of the GTL-ing lifestyle!
