Casey Anthony was sentenced to 4 years in jail for lying to police on Thursday by Florida judge Belvin Perry.

Judge Perry sentenced her to 1 year in jail for each count of lying to the police.  She will likely be released in August as she has already served 997 days in jail while awaiting and during her trial.

Anthony was found NOT GUILTY of killing her 2-year old daughter, Caylee Anthony, earlier this week. A verdict that shocked America.

However, life for Anthony outside of prison will likely be much tougher than it would have been for her in it.
