Former Real Housewife of New Jersey, Danielle Staub, sat down with US Weekly to promote her new show, Famous Food on VH1 and in true “back Staubing” fashion (and yes, I did “borrow” that phrase from Jaqueline Laurita) systematically sounded off on each one of her castmates – including Ms. Heidi Montag.

Staub opens the interview saying that the reality show is for all “foodies” who want to see a show about, “seven celebrities… well, six celebrities and an ex-call girl…”.

Wait, so, are you the ex-callgirl, Danielle?  Ohhhhh, you’re talking about Ashley Dupre.  See, I got confused because you used to be a pot and now you’re calling a kettle ‘black’.

Staub goes on to discuss her reasons for joining the show,

This is my chance to do something a little different [on reality TV]… Rather than fighting for my life [like on Housewives], it’s a chance to fight for a restaurant and to show my children a different side of their mom on TV.

She also discusses her friendly rivalry with the mostly plastic Heidi Montag commenting on how she believed that the blonde bombshell would be her greatest competition.  Of course her fears were squelched when she realized that Heidi was “…not the sharpest tool in the shed.  Not the dullest, but definitely not the sharpest.”

Sounds like the beginning of a beautiful friendship!
