Teen Mom star, Maci Bookout, is speaking out this week, claiming that her baby daddy, Ryan Edwards is a deadbeat dad.

On the season premiere of Teen Mom 3, Maci finds out that her ex has to deal with some serious repercussions if he doesn’t fork over some dough!  When the 19-year-old called child services to inquire about when she should be receiving her missing child support, the voice on the other line gave her some startling news about her unemployed Ex.

When someone has been receiving unemployment, that doesn’t mean they can stop paying child support… If payments aren’t coming in, we can file a contempt with the court, which typically means community service and, in most cases, six months in jail or a large lump sum payment.

Isn’t Ryan still living with his affluent parents in Knoxville?  How is this kid not able to make his payments?

An understandibly peeved Bookout immediately jumped on the phone to call her girlfriend to vent about the news.

Can you get me a new baby-daddy?… After 45 days [without payment], he has to go to jail. I just don’t understand how he thinks child support is a joke. What about when Bentley’s, like, eight, and he [asks] if dad’s ever been to jail. I’ll have to [say] ‘yes, because he didn’t pay up.’

Maybe some time in the slammer will straighten Ryan out – or maybe it will just make his that much harder to employ once her gets released.  Write to your local congressman about Parolee Rehabilitation Programs today!
