Illinois native Lee DeWyze, who won American Idol in May of 2010, has announced his engagement to model/actress Jonna Walsh.

DeWyze, 25, first met Walsh, 26, in October 2010 while shooting the video for his first single “Sweet Serendipity.” The two hit it off and have been dating ever since. July 16, during a visit to Disney World in Orlando, Florida, the singer popped the question to Walsh.
