Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Taylor Armstrong, who recently filed for divorce from husband, Russell Armstrong, has come forward about being “verbally and physically abused” during her nearly six-year marriage to the Texas businessman.

In an exclusive interview with People Magazine, Armstrong shared that during the entirety of her marriage, ”I felt like I was dying inside… Now, there’s some sense of peace.”  According to sources, fellow castmembers of RHOBH and BRAVO executives knew about the abuse, especially after witnessing Russell pushing the rail-thin Taylor during an event attended by all the housewives.

Russell, who does admit to pushing Taylor during the altercation in question, denies that his misconduct was in any way his fault,

Did I push her? Yes, maybe things happened in the heat of the moment, but it was during a time in our lives that was not characteristic of who we were. This show has literally pushed us to the limit.

Sorry Russell – you can blame BRAVO for a lot of things:  Pitting friends against each other, promoting vicious stereotypes, the crumbling of American pop culture as we know it  - but not physically harming your wife.  Try again.

While Taylor appears to feel relief after filing divorce papers, she still worries that the separation will be difficult for the couple’s daughter, Kennedy.

I hope we can co-parent as healthy as possible… He’s an amazing dad, and I want her to still think her dad is the greatest guy on the planet…. I think I hurt for my daughter more than I do for myself… It feels like a big loss that she’s not going to grow up with both of her parents in the same house.

Looks like Camille Grammer won’t be the only RHOBH dealing with nasty divorce proceedings during Season Two of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills!
