Bret Michaels has been busy with his recovery, but he has tried to stay busy with new projects. But sometimes the ball slips from the court and that is what happened to his most recent project. He was slated to have a Bret Michaels “Rock Your World” super fan cruise. He tweeted on Twitter that he was posting a message to his fans who bought tickets to the cruise.

His cruise for his fans to have the perfect fan experience. But his team seemed to pick the wrong guy for the job, and he bailed on them. Thus it made Bret bad on his gig and promise, which he had to work to correct. Only now has he made it a priority to talk about it.

To my family, friends, MEGI employees, other entertainers and most importantly you, the fans, who have purchased tickets to the upcoming Bret Michaels “Rock Your World” Super Cruise:

Ninety-five percent of the time, in the entertainment business, you deal with great promoters and agents. However, there is always a five percent chance of someone or something not being on the up and up, as was the case with our promoter in Syracuse, whom I filed suit against and fought to get people’s money refunded as best I could. In this case, the promoter, Willie Donwell, backed out of this event. He will not and cannot fulfill his contractual obligations. It has also come to my attention that Mr. Donwell has been involved in at least one other lawsuit of a similar nature in which he was sued by Prince. As a work for hire, I have always been and am ready still to perform as per my original contract. However, that option is not available as Mr. Donwell has attempted to release himself from his obligations and put his business dealings off on others. The goal was to give my fans the concert cruise experience of a lifetime and I have gone out of my way to do that. Even as late as yesterday I was on the radio with WMMR helping to promote this event.

As this is my first ever cruise, I want to reassure everyone that I have went out of my way to try and make this the best fan cruise on the high seas. Again, we are all victims of what I believe is a less-than-reputable promoter who apparently feels he can take advantage of both artists and fans. Know that I am working hard to right this wrong.

I guess with his recovery he was too busy than to check out the promoter. I just hope that he will be able to straighten it out and make a real cruise happen soon. I just think he should take his time seeking out the right person to get behind it.

Lance Armstrong is an amazing biker, father and cancer survivor, but even he is not one who can avoid advice. He tweeted that country crooner and drug loving Willie Nelson emailed him. He sent him a link to an old song that reminded him of the infamous Tour of de France race.

Bachelor Pad Contestants May Change Kids Lives in a Bad Way

Thinking of only a few of the upcoming Bachelor Pad 2 Contestants, I began wondering at the impact of “real people” and their bad behavior on their future family lives.  When you have a bunch of people vying for money and love for all the world to see, it gets ugly.  Some may live to regret their participation.  Much the way some will lose their jobs (or possibilities of a job) once an employer sees an ill-advised drunken photo posted on Facebook.  Those instant gratification app buttons can come back to haunt you.

I am disappointed that the network is inviting Jake back to the show. He was in that strange, robotic, grinny way even more disturbing than Bentley on Ashley’s Bachelorette season.  I felt sorry for Vienna when we all saw the relationship meltdown post engagement in a public venue, but she is back for more.  These contestants will forgive anything if they get a chance to be on TV again!  When really, they should be sent back to obscurity.

Bentley What’s His Name- The One With a Little Girl

For Bachelor Pad 2, they are making it nearly impossible to avoid drama of the ugliest sort by putting three sets of exes in the house.  I won’t be surprised if Bentley ends up being the “mystery man” for the pad…and I sadly understand this- ratings, ratings, ratings.  We like to watch these types of characters on nighttime drama (and some of you like those types on soaps).  But we also forget that this is a “real” person who is doing lowly, hurtful things (he has a young daughter) for all the world to witness.

All aboard, the Tacky Behavior Train is Leaving the Station

This Icky crowd uses their discount train tickets to infamy.  The question I have been asking myself for a while is: what happens to these people later on?  Their kids can watch their parents acting in a way that they would never want to see their own child act (or be treated).  This isn’t the same thing as seeing your actor-parent’s awkward early career Jello-Pudding-Pop Commercial.  They will see their parent acting like a bad human in order to gain something cheap.  And if hurting others purposefully is normalized for these kids, what kind of future behavior rationalizations will they be making?

Levi Johnston has set a good example for his younger sister. The mother of Bristol Palin‘s son, Tripp, previously posed nude for Playgirl magazine. Now, his 18-year-old sister, Mercede, has posed nude for a four-page editorial in the September issue of Playboy.

“Does anybody really believe a good Christian girl, such as Bristol claims to be, would really lose her virginity in a tent? I don’t think so. Usually girls want their first time to be meaningful and special.”

The ads were shot by the famous photographer Mario Testino. The fragrance will launch worldwide on September 1, 2011.

With the recent temper tantrums thrown by Jersey Shore stars Vinny Guadagnino and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, MTV is cracking down on the cast leaving the Shore House.

According to a TMZ report,

If another cast member tries to walk off the show … that person will be fired, and the remainder of his or her contract will be terminated. No exceptions.

I don’t regularly side with the execs over at MTV, but this time, I’m changing my tune.  This Jersey Shore cast needs to toe the line.  News flash gang!  None of you would be worth a hill of beans in the entertainment industry without Jersey Shore.  I get it if you’re ready to move on from your stints reality TV, but because it looks like you’re just pouting for the attention – get over yourselves!!

It looks like the only way castmembers will be leaving the Shore House from now on will be to hit the gym, do laundry or go tanning.  I wonder if there’s a shorter way to say that…

Newly single Green Lantern star Ryan Reynolds has snagged himself a new woman: Oscar-winner Charlize Theron. According to a source, the two have been dating for MONTHS!

Teen Mom star, Farrah Abraham seems to have more on her mind these days than taking care of her two-year-old daughter, Sophia.

According to InTouch Weekly, Farrah is more obsessed with her body than ever and is contemplating making more changes to her ever-shrinking physique.  A source close to the teen mom claims that,

Being on Teen Mom made her think about every inch of how she looks… She works out like crazy… Farrah is determined to be a star and is willing to do whatever it takes to get there.

If Farrah isn’t careful, she may fall into the same trap that caused fellow Teen Mom star, Leah Messer, to starve herself own to 90lbs. after filing for divorce from baby daddy, Corey Simms.

Farrah, who allowed MTV cameras to document her recent breast augmentation surgery, claims that all the “girls on the show are focused on how they look.” and seems to make light of her crazy dieting techniques, Tweeting, “Popcorn with soy sauce on it, Yummm.”
