Actress Reese Witherspoon’s ex-husband, Ryan Phillippe, was right by his former girlfriend, model/actress Alexis Knapp’s side when she gave birth to their love child, a healthy baby girl on Friday (June 1).

The 36 year-old actor had absolutely no doubt he is the father of this baby since he did not even ask for a paternity test. Ryan seems to be working on being the best father he can be, and he was right there in the delivery room to show his support to the mother of his child.

Explains a source of Phillippe’s presence during the birth: “He is a good father, and whether this is his baby or not, he wants to do the right thing and be supportive.”

Alexis dated Ryan for a couple of months, before breaking up in September of 2010. In March 2011, Alexis could not hide the protruding baby bump, but she stayed numb on the identity of the father. The 21 year-old new mom allegedly never asked Ryan for any help.

Apparently, Anderson Cooper, who is a self-professed fan of the Real Housewife franchise, blew a gasket after hearing the reality star’s attempt at a second single and jumped at the chance to blast the Countess during his CNN show, Anderson Cooper 360, adding Lu Lu to his, always popular, RidicuList.

Despite the fact that she can’t really sing, she has just released a song, and I use the term ‘song’ loosely… I’ve done some research and learned that she was actually the first wife of Count Chocula, until Frankenberry got in the way. Then she rebounded and ended up marrying the Count, although I can never remember if she was wife number two or number three.

Cooper went on to joke,

I’m not sure who gave all the Real Housewives the piece of cockamamie advice that they should try their hands at being actual entertainers, but it looks like Jill Zarin is the latest RHONY to try her hand at gaining a permanent place in Hollywood.

The Diet Coke slugging diva filmed her acting debut in an episode of the USA series, White Collar, opposite prime time hottie, Matt Bomer.  In a recent interview with US Weekly, Zarin gushed,

It was truly a dream come true to work with the entire cast and crew of White Collar… Everyone made me feel very comfortable and I loved every minute of it… I have caught the acting bug and would love to come back for another guest spot!  It would be amazing to work again with such a gifted and talented cast and crew.

Surprisingly, Matt Bomer, who recently appeared on BRAVO’s, Watch What Happens Live, told host, Andy Cohen, that the 47-year-old reality star was great to work and a lot of fun on set.  Weeeeeeeird.

Hopefully, this will be Zarin’s first and last attempt at scripted acting.

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi took “having one too many” to a whole new level earlier this week, when the pint-sized Guidette got so wasted that she spent the better part of an evening waltzing with a potted plant in a local bar.

Thankfully (or maybe I should say, unfortunately) were on the scene to capture the display before Snooki could realize that she was dancing with a plastic Ficus and not a juicy meathead.  I’m just spitballin’ here, but maybe this is the sort of antics that caused castmate, Vinny Guadagnino, to leave the shore house.

I hope she at least bought the plant a drink first!

Nikki apparently didn’t want to talk to her husband after he left her behind bars for longer than necessary by not posting bail. Weston took to his Facebook to announce he had decided to divorce his wife, changing his status from “married” to “it’s complicated”.

What the heck was Weston talking about? In the past couple of days, Weston desperately tried to communicate with his wife. He is SO smart, he even posted his phone number on FB, later complaining he was being harassed by people. DUH.

Today, Weston announced he is back with his wife and love lives on. The question is for how long these two can behave like a normal couple before another meltdown.

Weston wrote on his Facebook page: “Everything is back to normal, the battle is ver. LOVE LIVES ON.” He also changed his status from “it’s complicated” back to “married”. Oh, yeah. Congratulations to the expectant parents! SCARY.
