Rebecca Black has been known for her now infamous song “Friday“, but with that fame came a price that was a little too high to pay. She was bullied online, but it also transferred into her personal life at school. She said that kids would mock her and while it did not bother her that much-her mother came to her defense. She was quickly pulled out of public school and is now being home schooled. One benefit of it for her? She has more time for her career, including her newest single. Here is what she told ABC’s Primetime.
When I walk by, they’ll start singing ‘Friday’ in a really nasally voice…Or, you know, they’ll be like, ‘Oh hey, Rebecca, guess what day it is?
She also says that despite all of these haters, including death comments that forced the FBI to become involved-its not all as bad as it seems. She is also surrounded by adoring fans who love her song. But that still does not ease the death threats she gotten before. Do you think that her classmates have gone too far with this? I certainly do and we live in such a good time that we have an option of home school.
