Forget the William and Kate’s Royal wedding because Kim Kardashian is going to throw the biggest wedding of the year when she and her beau Kris Humphries exchange vows on Saturday (August 20). Contrary to the regular bridezilla, Kim is apparently calm, but her perfect dream wedding plans backfired when she was reportedly forced to disinvite 50 people from her guest list.

How do you tell someone you actually sent a wedding invitation to that they will not be allowed to experience the K&K wedding extravaganza, including 720 bottles of overly priced alcohol (chardonnay, rosé, merlot and cabernet, courtesy of Malibu Rocky Oaks Wine) and a $15,000 cake, to guarantee the safety of other more important guests? That would make any bride very unhappy.

“The fire marshal got involved,” a friend of Kim’s reveals to Life & Style. “Once the fire department learned about all the TV equipment that’s going to be inside the space — the lights, the cameras and the production crew — Kim was told she had to cut the guest list by 50 people!”

The guest list disaster will be completely forgotten as soon as Kim walks down the aisle in a stunning wedding dress, which is rumored to be a Vera Wang creation. Kim is also set to treat her feet to four different custom-designed pairs of heels by Christian Loboutin, and wear two dramatic gowns by Wang for the reception.

Kim Kardashian Lightens Her Hair-Again

Kim also wants to surprise her special guests (the ones that actually weren’t disinvited!) with a new look – pink nails and a darker hair color. The socialite only has a couple more days to prepare for the biggest day of her life… or the second biggest day of her life since she was previously married to Damon Thomas.
