American Idol alum Scott MacIntyre and his girlfriend/fiancée, Christina Teich, have officially tied the knot in a very small, private ceremony in Scottsdale, Arizona on Thursday (August 18)- more pictures below.

Scott and Christina exchanged vows in front of 200 guests, including family members and close friends. The 26 year-old singer met his bride while working on a community theater production of “The Music Man” back in 2003. The two became engaged in February 2011.

Scott, who become the first blind finalist of American Idol, is a hopelessly romantic guy, likes to call Christina his “beautiful soul mate”, and decided to write a song for their special day. Scott performed “Wanna Be There” for his wife for the first time at the ceremony.

Christina and Scott will spend a romantic honeymoon in Kauai Hawaii. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
