Today (August 20) is the big day for Kim Kardashian. The 30 year-old reality star is set to wed her fiancé, NBA star Kris Humphries, in a lavish wedding reception held at a luxurious estate in Montecito, California.

Kim and Kris’ wedding has already been dubbed the “wedding of the year”. The Kardashian family has been keeping it all under wraps, but the bride decided to reveal a few secrets in an interview with Ryan Seacrest for his KIIS-FM radio show.

The most important “detail” of the event is Kim’s wedding dress, which she described as classic and old Hollywood. Friend Nicole Richie helped with the concept and Vera Wang designed the fairytale bridal dress.

As for the bridesmaids’ dresses, Kim promises something equally as tasteful, but the dresses will not be green as her sisters, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian revealed on Twitter. Kim also confessed she had her bridezilla moments, but now she is pretty calm because she knows she found the right man.

“When you know you know,” Kim told Seacrest. “We’re having so much fun we just get along so well, he just lets me be me. And we have such a good relationship. It’s such a normal, healthy, trusting, easy relationship.”

Kim spent way too much time and money to plan the perfect wedding. Unfortunately, the bride’s dad, lawyer Robert Kardashian, who died back in 2003, won’t be able to walk his daughter down the aisle. Bruce Jenner, Kim’s stepdad, will do the honors.

Footage of Kris and Kim’s fairytale wedding will air on E! News on Sunday. And the special, “Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event” is set to air October 9 and 10. Cha-Ching!
