Actress Hilary Duff was set to play Bonnie Parker in an upcoming movie titled “The Story of Bonnie and Clyde” opposite Kevin Zegers, but she was unceremoniously dropped as soon as she announced the good news that she is pregnant with her first child.

The 23 year-old actress apparently won’t be available until next June, and shooting for this adaptation of “Bonnie and Clyde” is scheduled to start this Fall. They are currently looking for actors to play the legendary bank robber, and her man, since Zegers is also out of the picture due to scheduling conflicts.

A new dynamic duo must be found soon. No word on Hilary’s part left us wondering if she is okay with this decision. Unhappy Hilary could easily sue them for unfair dismissal. Hopefully, Hilary and her husband Mike Comrie will be able to enjoy their pregnancy peacefully.
