Selena did such a great job trying to be professional… that is until Justin mentioned his snake named Johnson, which simply created one of the most awkward moments on TV for me ever. Maybe I need to get my head out of the gutter, but the thought of Selena playing with Justin’s snake basically grosses/creeps me out.

“I have a snake,” the 17-year-old said. “Stop, I know!” Gomez, 19, squealed. “My snake’s name is Johnson,” Bieber told his squeamish girlfriend. “I have red pants and cheetah shoes.”

What the heck were they really talking about: a pet snake or something else? No. Stop. Ugh. Awkward. Ok. I’m not sure if there was even any doubt – Justin and Selena are so doing it! Ew. Seriously, Justin was carrying his pet snake around. No kidding. Pet snake became the ultimate fashion accessory on the VMAs carpet.
