Early Monday morning, Oscar winner Kate Winslet escaped a major house fire while on vacation in the Caribbean. The actress, along with her boyfriend Louis Dowler, and her children Mia, 10, and Joe, 7, were staying in Virgin Records founder Richard Branson‘s home.

Branson told reporters that his son Sam, 25, helped guests evacuate the fire, which began around 4 a.m. during a tropical storm. He said the eight-bedroom Great House on Necker, Branson’s private island in the British Virgin Islands, was “completely destroyed” by the fire.

Wagner, 51, was also previously married to his on-screen love interest on General Hospital, Kristina Wagner. The two split in 2006. They have two children together: Peter, 10 and Harrison, 7.

Teen Mom star Corey Simms has found love again!  With another MTV reality star!  I bet it’s going to last a long, long time!

According to sources, the estranged husband of Teen Mom star Leah Messer is now romantically linked to 16 & Pregnant star, Nikkole Paulun.  I guess this guy just can’t get enough of being a baby daddy on national TV…

In a recent interview with Life & Style Magazine, Paulun opened up about the pair’s long distance relationship.

We’ve always been good friends and bonded over being young parents… We like each other a lot, but it’s complicated trying to have a relationship with someone who lives two states away… But I plan on visiting him soon and seeing where things go from there.

Is it really wise to talk to a tabloid about your new relationship when you’re still in the “seeing where things go” phase?  Especially when you’re new beau isn’t even officially divorced from his wife?

Rapper Pitbull made the huge mistake of trying to sound cool by throwing a line about how he “(…) keep it flowin’/I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan” in his latest hit, “Give Me Everything”, which was written by Ne-Yo and Afrojack. Why? LiLo was simply not amused by the name drop and decided to sue the rapper and writers over what she describes as “defamatory statements”.

Seriously? Lindsay actually claimed in the lawsuit, the lyrics “by virtue of its wide appeal, condemnation, excoriation, disparaging or defamatory statements by the defendants about the plaintiff are destined to do irreparable harm to the plaintiff.”

Adding, “I’m a professional actor of good repute and standing in the Screen Actors Guild, is suing under the New York civil rights laws, which protects people from having their name exploited for commercial purposes.”

Did LiLo actually call herself a pro actor? Of good repute? Good story. Hilarious. Anyhow, the actress’ legal team does have a point when they claim Lindsay’s name is being exploited and they do not want her name associated with the bad boys.

Lindsay wants to stop them from broadcasting the offensive song, and is also seeking unspecified damages. Yep, that’s how Lindsay makes her money these days. The “Mean Girl” recently settled the E*TRADE babies lawsuit for an undisclosed amount of money.

This week’s episode of BRAVO’s Real Housewives of New Jersey was especially gag-inducing, due in large part to the ridiculous antics of Ashley Holmes, who, for the life of her, cannot seem to keep her eyes from rolling back in her head during normal adult conversations.  Or keep her fingers off her cellphone keypad.

There is no way Jacqueline Laurita isn’t at the end of her rope.  Not only is the reality star trying to figure out a way to  leave the cast of RHONJ, but once again, her daughter is acting more immature than her two-year-old little brother.

During last night’s episode, as Ashley prepared to leave for her “trip” to California, Jacqueline and husband, Chris Manzo finally broke the news, to the tearful 20-year-old, that enough was enough and it was time to move out of their house.

We’ve tried everything.  We’ve tried showing you love; we’ve tried showing you support…. Call one of your friends to get you and get out… You’ve got it all figured out? Go!

While Jacqueline and Chris have tried time and time again to help their troubled daughter land on her feet, Ashley seems unable to believe that her parents have her best interest at heart.

Everyone in my family just talks at me.  ’We’re trying to guide you; we’re trying to help you.’ But they’re not.  It’s kind of like, why do I have to do this by myself, just because my mom did?

Maybe it’s the magic of reality TV editing or maybe my perception is way off, but it seems to me that loving parents who’ve given you a roof over your head for 20 years and not one, but TWO brand new cars, deserve a little more respect than being bad mouthed in front of millions of viewers every week.

But that’s just me.

There’s another scandal heating up surrounding the suicide of  Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Russell Armstrong, but this time the castmembers of RHOBH aren’t to blame!

According to sources, the doctor who performed plastic surgery on Taylor Armstrong’s face after she withstood an obviously severe beating at the hand of her husband, failed to report the incident to the proper authorities.

Medical professionals are required by law to make police aware of any suspected domestic abuse.

But the good doctor was not the first to keep mum about the troubles in the Armstrong home.  Taylor first opened up about her physically abusive relationship to RHOBH castmates, Camille Grammer and Kyle Richards, back in June, telling them that the abuse from Russell had become so severe that she was forced to check into the hospital with broken cheekbones.

However, when Taylor revealed to her husband that she spoke to the two women about the abuse, Russell allegedly sent a “very threatening” email to Grammer, which undoubtedly caused the them to think twice about going to the authorities.

I’m sorry, but have none of these people ever seen a Lifetime movie?  There is a very specific order of operations you follow if you suspect spousal abuse.  First you get your friend out of harms way.  Then you tell the police.  Then you sit on a park bench on a cloudy day and look out onto the water while soft, angsty piano music plays quietly in the background.

It’s not rocket science!

Rod Stewart’s daughter, Kimberly Stewart, gave birth to a healthy baby girl, who weighed in at 8lbs 8oz and 22 inches, at a hospital in Los Angeles, California on Sunday (August 21). When the 31 year-old socialite announced she was pregnant with her first child, she also revealed the father of her child is actor Benicio del Toro.

Benicio and Kimberly had some sort of fling. They are not currently a couple, but the 44 year-old Oscar winner seems to be very supportive and was actually looking forward to the arrival of the baby.

Kimberly also had the full support of her family. Her father, his wife Penny Lancaster-Stewart and mother Alana Collins were at the hospital to welcome the new baby. In fact, the legendary rocker could not contain his excitement since he has been waiting to finally become a grandpa for so long.

Singer Jasmine Villegas aka Jasmine V, best known as one of Justin Bieber’s ex-girlfriends who appeared in his music video for “Baby”, recently obtained a restraining order against her creepy stalker, 33 year-old Steven Cintron.

Cintron was ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from the 17 year-old for the next three years after he posted videos on YouTube threatening to rape and kill the young singer.

Too scary. Jasmine must have been absolutely terrified. This man apparently filmed more than 75 videos dedicated to Jasmine, some of those with very violent messages. Cintron is even seen holding a gun and a machete knife. The sick man also offered $5,000 to anyone who would do his dirty work and kill her.

This guy needs to be locked up in a mental institution. And someone should definitely throw away the key.

Although her six-year contract is still in effect, The Real Housewives rumor mill says that RHONJ star, Jacqueline Laurita will not return for the show’s sixth season.  According to sources,

It is confirmed that Jacqueline Laurita is now filming her LAST season of the Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Apparently, the 41-year-old, mother-of three has been filming limited scenes for the show’s 4th season, but is sick of having her family’s personal issues broadcast on national television and wants out of her contract with BRAVO before filming for Season 5 begins.  After last week’s humiliating intervention with Ashley, can you blame her?

Jacquline will be the second RHONJ to walk away from the reality TV spotlight; sister-in-law Dina Manzo opted out of returning to the show after only one season!  Manzo now hosts her own show, Dina’s Party, on HGTV.

I’d watch a show starring Laurita.  Maybe a TLC original called “What Not to Wear When You’re Over 40″?
