Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump took to her Twitter account this week to offer condolences regarding fellow RHOBH star Russell Armstrong’s recent suicide.

After being singled out by Armstrong’s mother during an HLN interview, as one of the driving forces behind her son’s suicide, Vanderpump made sure to let her 126,000 Twitter followers know that she is truly in a state of grief for the entire Armstrong family.

There are no words to describe the shock and utter devastation we all feel@TaylorArmstrong,for some life is too challenging,know we love you.

There is nothing I hate more than a “condolences” Tweet.  Sending someone your “thoughts and prayers” via a Twitter is about as heartfelt as a belated birthday message on Facebook.

Oh, but it gets worse.  Vanderpump (who I usually adore) then felt the need to log into her dog, Giggy’s Twitter account and pen a Tweet for the tiny Pomeranian.

Listen Lisa, your dog, and his 32,000 followers (what is wrong with you people!?) don’t need to be weighing in on something as serious as a suicide.  Send flowers like a normal animal and leave the Tweeting to the human beings.

In the aftermath of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Russell Armstrong‘s suicide, friends and family members are speaking out against the harsh media critiques that drove the 47-year-old to take his own life.

Armstrong’s mother, John Ann Hotchkiss, spoke to HLN last night regarding how appearing on BRAVO’s RHOBH destroyed her son’s marriage to wife, Taylor Armstrong , “I watched it slowly destroy their marriage…” and ultimately resulted in his suicide.

Before the new season even started, before he took his life, he said, ‘Mom, they’re just going to crucify me this season,’… He said, ‘I don’t know what to do. I’ll never survive it.’ I thought he meant businesswise or something…  Perhaps there was a double meaning there. I don’t know.

Hotchkiss added that Russell was devastated by the harsh criticisms he received from his RHOBH costars.

What bothered me the most, I think, is on the program itself — and this is on video — he would be bashed by some of the other cast members…  Especially Lisa[Vanderpump], who is a beautiful lady. I just couldn’t understand why she would be so unkind to him.

I know it hurt him deeply, because he would talk to me about it — never criticizing Taylor, of course. I would not want him to.  The program itself just really brought him down.

Talk about a lesson in learning to hold your tongue…

Fiery. Republican Christine O’Donnell was offended by some of Piers Morgan’s questions on issues such as gay marriage, calling it “borderline rude” and walking off during an interview for CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight on Wednesday (August 17)- watch video below.

O’Donnell is asked about gay marriage and claims Piers’ rude because she wants to talk about her book, but then says her views are in the book and refuses to discuss them since she is not running for office. So what does O’Donnell want to talk about then? The type of tea and exquisite biscuits (aka cookies for the working class!) served at her tea parties?

Seriously? The book titled “Troublemaker: Let’s Do What It Takes To Make America Great Again” is actually described by O’Donnell herself as “a political memoir slash campaign diary slash position paper slash rallying cry, with an emphasis on the slash.” So let’s discuss politics/policies… or we could just discuss her incredible knowledge of witchcraft and that creepy picnic date at a satanic altar, no?

If O’Donnell really doesn’t feel like talking about important issues that might actually help “make America great again”, then the decision to walk out was the right one. Good night and good luck, you troublemaker!!

While appearing on Conan Monday night, comedienne Kathy Griffin revealed that Sarah Palin is old news, but ultra conservative Michele Bachmann has certainly caught her attention.

Kathy told Conan O’Brien that while she was in Washington, DC to research for her rally to repeal Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, she met Bachmann in an elevator. Perhaps mistaking her for someone else, Bachmann’s team pulled out a camera to video the two together. Griffin says she asked the Congresswoman if she’d support an effort to repeal the law that banned homosexuals from the military. When Bachmann responded with a resounding “no,” Griffin said: ”Congresswoman Bachmann, were you born a bigot or did you, like, grow into it?” while the cameras still rolled.

And how did Bachmann respond?

“That’s a good question. I’m gonna have to get back to ya.”

Talk about the cold shoulder!

Even after former Real Housewives of DC stars, Michaele and Tareq Salahi packed up and moved all the way across the country, BRAVO and the cast of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couldn’t be persuaded to roll out the welcome mat.

Can you blame ‘em?

Although sources claimed that the White House crashing couple’s manager was supposedly in talks with the “Watch What Happens” network regarding joining the cast of RHOBH, TMZ reports now say that BRAVO could not be less interested in working with the fame-hungry duo.

When asked whether or not BRAVO was even entertaining the idea of transfering the Salahis to another Housewives cast, BRAVO executive and creator of the Real Housewives empire Andy Cohen simple replied, “We’re not interested.”

What?  BRAVO not interested in a law-breaking, lying, cheating, sociopathic couple?  These two must be reeaaaally bad.

It looks like Jersey Shore star, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is being approached by yet another big name brand for an endorsement deal.  Only this time, the provisions of the deal are that Sorrentino NOT be seen sporting their duds.

According to ABC News, Abercrombie & Fitch asked Sitch to stop wearing their brand on national television after the loathsome Lothario was seen prancing around Florence in a pair of neon A&F sweatpants during last week’s episode of Jersey Shore.

The retailer felt a “deep concern” that any link between Sorrentino and Abercrombie and Fitch would be detrimental to their “aspirational” marketing campaign.  So detrimental in fact, that they’ve offered to pay off the entire Shore cast to ensure that their name not be seen on the MTV hit again.

We understand that the show is for entertainment purposes, but believe this association is contrary to the aspirational nature of our brand, and may be distressing to many of our fans…

Listen A&F execs, your “fans” are the EXACT same people who tune into Jersey Shore week in and week out, so climb on down off your high horse and come hang out down here with the rest of us.

I think the bigger issue here isn’t so much that A&F is acting like a popular girl who got caught making out with a guy from AV club, it’s that the 29-year-old Sorrentino is still wearing Abercrombie and Fitch clothes.  Did someone forget to give him the memo that wearing A&F after high school is lamer than a three-legged pony?

Take the money Sitch, and go get yourself a new, age-appropriate wardrobe.
