Wow. Jazzlyn truly became another person when she started to perform. She became more confident, sassy, intense and very soulful. Simon Cowell was so really pleased with Jazzlyn’s performance that he labeled her a world star and the one to watch in this competition. LA Reid and Paula Abdul agreed she was born to be a star.

Oh. Oh. Nashville heartthrob Brennin Hunt, who already believes he is the total package and has the “it” factor, decided to offer a performance of one of his original songs, “How We Make It”, during the “The X-Factor” auditions on Thursday (September 29)- watch video below.

Wow. Oh. Swoon. The 26 year-old wishing he was 25 musician/model has the most swooning voice and presence in the world. Kill. Me. Now. And he is a singer/songwriter. That silky and soulful tone is absolutely incredible, and the song is actually not bad.

Simon Cowell would love to work with Brennin, saying he has it all – good voice, charisma, hotness – and only needs the right advice, choices, etc., to make it in the music business. Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul just loved him. LA Reid agreed. Brennin is HOT.

Teen idol wannabe Nick Dean delighted the judges with his confidence, style and a performance of what he claimed to be his first single, an original song called “Walk Away”, during the “The X-Factor” auditions on Thursday (September 29)- watch video below.

The 14 year-old student rocked the stage and left all the tweens in the audience screaming for more. Could Nick Dean be the next Justin Bieber? LA Reid and Simon Cowell approved, while Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul were just sort of mesmerized by the boy’s cuteness.

21 year-old Tora Woloshin, who wants to be an automotive technician, rocked the stage with an entertaining performance of “I Want You Back” by Jackson 5 during the “The X-Factor” auditions on Thursday (September 29)- watch video below.

Tora previously auditioned for American Idol with Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul, but she did not pass the Hollywood round. The girl has star quality for sure. Tora probably needs to work a bit more on the vocals, but her voice is extremely versatile.

Simon Cowell just loves her. Nicole Scherzinger recognized something unique, funky and cool in Tora’s voice. Paula Abdul loved the whole package, saying she obviously is a performer. And LA Reid said they were lucky to have someone like Tora.

Another boyband, The Stereo Hoggz, tried their luck and failed to impress with an original song called “Running” during the “The X-Factor” auditions on Thursday (September 29)- watch video below.

They got four nods and are going straight to bootcamp, but I do not believe they actually have a chance to take this competition. They have lots of swagger yet there’s something missing in there. I cannot say what exactly.

Simon Cowell did not appreciate the fact they felt very over rehearsed. On the other hand, Nicole Scherzinger just loved the energy and effort they put in their audition.

Seriously? These two have watched way too many “Glee” episodes for their own good. Simon Cowell claimed AusEm has a target audience that completely understands them, and said “yes”. LA Reid believes Austin is a star, but doesn’t believe in the duo.

Nicole Scherzinger wants to say “no” yet she cannot resist the duo’s cuteness. She stalled her decision, which made Simon go nuts. He just wanted a “yes or bloody no” for Christ’s sake. “Yes!”

Singer/songwriter Leroy Bell, who shocked everybody when he revealed his real age, offered the audience a solid rendition of “Lean On Me” by Ben E. King during the “The X-Factor” auditions on Thursday (September 29)- watch video below.

The 59 year-old has an interesting voice, incredible stage presence and energy. Grandpa’s got stamina! I like that. The judges were clearly impressed by his good shape and looks as well as his vocal skills. Leroy easily scored four “yeses” and is heading to X-Factor bootcamp.

18 year-old Paige Elizabeth Ogle, who said she would like to replace Justin Bieber in the business, dared to sing a rendition of Lady GaGa’s hit “You and I” during the “The X-Factor” auditions on Thursday (September 29)- watch video below.

Paige’s voice is not bad, but I cannot even begin to comprehend why all the four judges were so impressed and satisfied with that performance. Although we didn’t get to hear much of her audition, Paige sounded pretty vulgar to me.

17 year-old high school junior Cari Fletcher, who’s had vocal training since she was only 6, impressed the judges with a rendition of “Alone” by Heart during the “The X-Factor” auditions on Thursday (September 29)- watch video below.

Cari is only 17? She looks and sounds way more mature. I was not even entertained by her performance until she got to the chorus. Then, I realized this girl has good pipes. I’d have to agree with Simon Cowell, Cari was kind of boring and not memorable at all.

Paula Abdul believed in Cari’s potential and warned her to come back, be irrelevant and pick songs to knock it out of the ballpark. LA Reid already believes Cari is a star. Simon gives Cari a chance and also said “yes”.

The Talk co-host Sara Gilbert and her partner of 10 years, Alison Adler, parted ways earlier this year. Gilbert has remained mum about the break-up, but finally broke her silence on air Friday morning during a segment asking, “Is marriage all it’s cracked out to be?”

“I feel like I don’t know if marriage is all it’s cracked up to be. I’ve never been married, but I was in a long relationship… Its emotional for me, because we’re not together.”

Tearfully, she continued:

“I wouldn’t trade that time, it’s such a special time in my life. But then you see people in their 70s and you wonder how do they do it? How do they make it last? And I would like to think that I can.”

Gilbert and Adler have two children together: a six-year-old son Levi, and four-year-old daughter Sawyer.
