On the premiere of the CW’s new show, H8R, Jersey Shore’s Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi gets to confront one of her biggest “haters” – some guy who’s called her, among other things, “a druken slob”.  Ummm, hasn’t pretty much everybody called Snooki that… or worse?

The premise of H8R, which will air as part of the CW’s new fall lineup, is to illustrate how “hating” on celebrities, or anyone for that matter, can be hurtful.  According to one of the show’s creators, Lisa Gregorisch-Dempsey,

Haters are hiders… It’s easier to trash talk when you don’t have to look people in the eye. We wanted to see if these people would continue to rage if they had the chance to look celebs in the face and hear how hurtful this stuff can be.

Yeah… No matter how you paint this, there’s just no way I’m going to feel sorry for Snooki and all the “struggles” she faces because of people hating on her.  Her fame is a direct result of people mocking her.  Take that away and her “career” goes down the tubes.

The new series, hosted by Mario Lopez, will feature celebs from Kim Kardashian to Eva Longoria to Jake Pavelka, each getting to confront their biggest “H8Rs” face to face.  Should make for some pretty uncomfortable TV watchin’.
